- Project design experience -experience with large scale projects or sports stadium, arenas, convention centers, hospitality, and aviation are a strong plus.
- Registered Architect with a current license.
- NCARB registration preferred.
- LEED, CSI certification or ICC certification is not required, but a plus.
- Minimal travel to other Populous offices or project sites.

This is an individual contributor position which works under regular supervision and is responsible for completing Quality Assurance Reviews.
As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:
- Complete quality assurance files reviews for certified loans underwritten under Delegated or Non-Delegated authority. This entails completing a re-underwrite of the loan file for acceptable risk based on published guidelines/credit policy, and a review of completed re-verifications.
- Complete re-verifications of occupancy, employment/income, and funds for loan closing as required and make referrals to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) as appropriate.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of Agency, USPAP and Essent guidelines/eligibility requirements.
- Complete second level reviews on loans cited with any level of defect by the third-party vendor.
- Participate in system testing and enhancement requirements as part of a coordinated corporate effort.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED; bachelor’s in business administration or related field is .
- Mortgage insurance experience is .
- Seven (7) years or more of experience in the mortgage banking industry with specific mortgage insurance industry experience desired

POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision, ensures Authority, construction managers, external design consultants, construction contractors, and the program manager adhere to, and effectively implement the quality management system requirements set forth by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Qualifications
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs project process audits on CTA Quality Management System and Consultants to include:

Plans and prepares for internal and external audits.

Conducts audits to verify effective implementation of the QMS and associated processes and Contract Requirements
-
Completes detailed audit records and reports.
-
Follows up actions if audit findings issued to ensure corrective action implementation effectiveness and closure.
-
Participates in Contractor compliance audits and review audit reports performed and completed by Construction Manager or Owner Representatives.
-
Provides Quality Assurance (QA) oversight of consultants and contractors, including active construction project site visits. Monitors project records and activities for compliance and proactively report deficiencies to be addressed.

Performs FTA and contract required reviews of various submittals including consultant and contractor quality programs, test and inspection plans, construction process plans, qualification submittals, audit reports, test procedures, and any quality related documents.
-
Represents the QA Department at various project-related meetings including preconstruction, pre-activity design, project progress, quality, and NCR resolutions.
-
Maintain control of quality control documentation including uploading to all applicable sites.

Performs related duties as assigned.

SUMMARY: The Chief Quality Control Inspector verifies compliance with all pertinent Federal Aviation Regulations, and any other foreign Civil Aviation Regulations and applicable manufacturers specifications and Air Carriers requirements. Additionally, it is the responsibility of the Chief Quality Control Inspector to ensure that product integrity and requirements are achieved by all Quality and Operations Personnel.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for assisting in inspection procedures, vendor review, technical libraries, training records, overall FAR compliance, reliability monitoring, calibration and record keeping of tools and equipment, standard practices, and procedures.
- Ascertain that all inspections are properly performed on all completed work and that the proper inspection records, reports and forms used by the repair station are correctly executed prior to releasing the product for return to service.
- Assists in maintaining a current file for pertinent Federal Aviation Regulations, Specifications, Type Certification Data Sheets and Airworthiness Directives.
- Assure that periodic checks are made on all inspection tools and the calibration of precision test equipment used by the repair station.
- Determines that no defective, unserviceable or un-airworthy parts are installed in any component or articles released by the repair station.
- Conducting periodic facility audits to ensure compliance with internal and external quality requirements.
- Responsible for issuing and maintaining Corrective Actions.
- Knowledge to establish standards based on past customer corrective actions and requests.
- Responsible for assisting in the planning and laying out the details of inspection standards, methods and procedures used by the repair station in complying with all applicable FAR, manufacturers recommendations, and customer requirements.
- Provides training, current and recurrent.
- Responsible for the workflow and inspectors actions at final inspection release of components for return to service.
- Communicating with Management, FAA, other NAA, internal and external customers to resolve issues discovered prior to and after release of articles.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 9 years of relevant/technical work experience OR
- Bachelor's degree in lieu of 3 years work experience
- Experience in communicating with FAA and other Foreign NAA.
- Ability to obtain Repairmans License.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling applications.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- 9+ years of FAA 145 MRO inspection duties in like type units released by specific facility.
- A&P License.
- Experience with ISO/ Lean practices.
OTHER:
- The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
