**Description:** **Overview**
You will be a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, responsible for receiving and processing incoming materials, verifying quantities and materials, and routing packages to their destinations. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the smooth and efficient receipt and shipment of goods, and we're looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming materials, including raw stock, assemblies, parts, and equipment. You will verify quantities and materials against packing sheets and invoices, process goods receipts in our MRP system, and route packages to their destinations. You will also perform a variety of clerical duties associated with shipping and receiving, including preparing labels, shipping documents, and reports.
**Your responsibilities will include:**
* Receiving and processing incoming materials, including raw stock, assemblies, parts, and equipment
* Verifying quantities and materials against packing sheets and invoices
* Processing goods receipts in our MRP system
* Routing packages to their destinations
* Preparing labels, shipping documents, and reports
* Maintaining the Shipping Department's record keeping system, including DD250, DD1149, DD1907, BOLs, and other documents
* Performing related shipping responsibilities, including utilizing shipping software and systems
* Acting as a liaison between internal and external customers to investigate and resolve discrepancies and other receiving issues
* Maintaining files of vendor packing sheets, processed Goods Receipt Slips, Discrepancy Reports, and other documentation
* Learning and demonstrating knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office programs, and other related software programs
* Assisting with the duties of Shipping/Receiving "A" personnel as required and directed

**Basic Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six to twelve months of shipping and receiving experience.
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

**Job Summary**
Adecco is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join a growing manufacturing and distribution team in Grand Prairie, TX. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with inventory, and takes pride in accuracy and organization.
**Responsibilities**
+ Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments of materials and products.
+ Verify contents of shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, or invoices.
+ Accurately document and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
+ Prepare and package products for outgoing shipments using proper labeling and documentation.
+ Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred).
+ Maintain clean, organized shipping and receiving areas.
+ Collaborate with warehouse, production, and quality teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
+ Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control as needed.
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ 2-5 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
+ Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, invoices, and work orders.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
+ Experience with forklift operation preferred (certification a plus).
+ Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
