**Summary:**
The UNC Health Faculty Physicians (FP) is the faculty practice arm of the UNC School of Medicine and the UNC Medical Center and the third largest entity within the greater UNC Health system. The Chief Operating Officer, UNC Faculty Physicians (COO) plays a critical role in the success of the FP organization. This role partners with the FP President, overseeing FP's day-to-day operations along with the support of an administrative team. **Responsibilities:**
1. Lead and direct all operational aspects of FP, including supporting the growth and development of clinical services through contracting, physical and programmatic expansion, and oversight of APP Center. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
2. Support clinical departments in the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.
3. Partner with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to develop and manage FP's annual operating budget, as well as that of the clinical departments.
