Position Description

As a Plumber, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

• Instaltion & Repair: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, fixtures, and drainage systems across the campus.
• Water Heater & System Maintenance: Maintain water heaters (gas and electric), circulation pumps, drinking fountains, and related systems.
• Diagnose Plumbing Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions.
• Disposal Systems: Install and maintain waste disposal, drainage, and sanitary systems, ensuring compliance with codes
• Inspection: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to optimize plumbing system performance and ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety protocols, and company standards.
• Emergency Response: Respond to emergency plumbing issues promptly, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plumber, with a focus on commercial buildings.
• Proficiency in installing and repairing a wide range of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, gas lines, and other essential plumbing infrastructures. auto flush systems for toilets and urinals.
• Strong understanding of commercial plumbing codes, local regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications with accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, troubleshooting abilities, and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle tools, lift materials, and work in confined spaces or on elevated surfaces.
• Familiarity with a variety of tools such as pipe cutters, wrenches, soldering equipment, snakes, jetters, and power tools.
• Good communication skills for effectively interacting with customers, vendors, team members, and leadership.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Knowledge of sustainable plumbing practices or energy-efficient systems.
• Experience in backflow prevention installation and maintenance.
• Preferred certification in backflow testing or related specialized training.
• Ability to provide guidance or mentorship to junior plumbing staff or apprentices.

You’ll be based in Riverside, CA (92507) and spend your days out in the field transforming homes and businesses with reliable, high-quality water systems. This role is hands-on, independent, and customer-facing. You’re the face of the operation and the reason they’ll call us again.

Your day looks like this :

• Load up your gear and review your schedule at headquarters

• Travel within a 75-mile radius for scheduled installs

• Install water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and related equipment

• Educate the customer and walk them through their new system

DUTIES and REQUIREMENTS:

• Jetting & Snaking drains.
• Complete gas pipe and water line repairs.
• Detect ground leaks and repair.
• Trouble- shoot condenser units; air handles; hydronic systems
• Install, diagnosis hydronic piping; system piping
• Replace and install 3-way valves, zone valves
• Work with heating and cooling coils
• Trouble shoot electrical mainframe
• Troubleshoot & correct cross-over problems.
• Complete slab leak detection and complete repairs.
• Complete compressor replacements
• Perform Backflow Testing and repairs to Backflow equipment.
• Complete Water Heater and Tankless Water Heater installations and repairs.
• Completing mixing valve installations and repairs.
• Completing line-set piping
• Balancing hot and cold-water system.
• Diagnose and complete Hydronic Heating and Cooling Systems repairs.
• Complete work orders, time cards and company paperwork accurately and legibility.
• Driving to customer job sites.
• Driving to parts houses when necessary and maintaining proper truck stock. Parts ordering for jobs.
• Communicating with supervisor and dispatcher effectively.

• Service Domestic rated boiler equipment and water heaters. (Will train employee in boiler skill set if needed)
• Must be able to physically perform all job responsibilities.
• Participate with other technicians/plumbers on the On-Call rotating schedule.

1. Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial service and repair in HVAC/plumbing experience. (Not new construction)
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing, boiler, and HVAC issues and complete top-quality repairs.
3. Strong knowledge of plumbing, systems and necessary repairs and maintenance.
4. Strong knowledge in HVAC systems and necessary repairs and maintenance.
5. Some knowledge in commercial boilers/water heaters systems and necessary repairs and maintenance.
6. Able to work independently, as part of a team and without heavy supervision.
7. Have excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
8. Backflow certification a plus.
9. Currently have and maintain clean driving record.
10. Must pass pre-employment Drug Screening process, Criminal Background check & E-Verify screening prior to hiring.

• Annual Pay $63k to $85k, based on experience.
• Core Work period is Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm + some OT. Position is required to participation with other technicians on rotating On-Call schedule.
• Service Truck, Insurance and Fuel costs provided after completion of training period (for Company Use Only).
• Flexible "Paid Time Off" (PTO) - range 96 hrs. to 176 hrs. each year, based on service year.

• Lead/Master Plumbers are considered senior level and typically operate their own company truck
• Lead Plumbers must have applicable certifications and licensing required by their state of residence
