JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Coordinator will work closely with the Production Supervisors, Shipping Clerks and Master Scheduler to ensure that the production schedule in the Duquesne facility is on track each day to meet Customer ship dates / times. They will ensure raw materials are available, work order packets are assembled, and finished product produced is correct. Responsible for strict adherence to published production standards and Company policies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Production - Responsible for helping to insure the successful and on time completion of all scheduled work orders with production Supervisors. Insures all resources are used in the most efficient means possible to insure production goals are met and or exceeded. Works closely with the Master Scheduler to schedule work orders to insure 100% on time delivery of product.

• Inventory - Oversees the movements of raw materials and finished goods to and from the production floor and shipping department ensuring accuracy of product count. Responsible for tracking and maintaining inventory control. Makes corrections to raw materials and finished goods in the AS400 system.

• Organizing & Planning - Responsible for creating the daily production schedule. Assembles and distributes work order packets to the production floor. Changes work order structures based on substitution needs and product availability. Creates work orders and prework orders as needed. Review and make corrections to the Operator Screen Editor.

• Leadership - Reviews all component needs required for production and packaging of work orders. Delegates work orders to appropriate work centers. Maintains various reports required by the GM of Duquesne Plant.

• Communication - Notifies GM, Supervisors and Master scheduler of any issues arising in Production. Daily communication to appropriate parties for any changes required, inventory issues, supply issues, procedural issues regarding pulling, scanning or negatives.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• A knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• 3 years of similar experienced required
• High school diploma required, some college course work preferred.
• PC literate, MS Office computer skills required.
• Solid math skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Able to occasionally carry, push or pull objects weighing up to and including 35 pounds.
• Able to ambulate or stand 8 hours a day.
• Able to operate a pallet jack. Material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Manual dexterity to perform keyboard functions.

Job Description

Equifax is looking for a Production Manager who will help enable the Creative team's success. This role reports to the Creative Director with responsibility for both internal and external Creative teams. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate as a strategic thought partner on team operations and design projects including: project management software, vendor and contractor oversight, resource allocation, art direction and graphic design.

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely two days a week, or from our office located in Alpharetta or Midtown. (This is NOT a fully remote role.)

What you'll do:

* Owns project management software instance for the Creative team, including: day-to-day processes, troubleshooting and optimization, vendor relationship and contract, security compliance, licensing billing and setup


* Processes all project requests, ensuring proper information is submitted before setting up the project for the most efficient execution to capture concepts, design proofs, feedback, approvals, final file delivery and archiving files


* Aligns requests with the best talent based on project scope and budget


* Proactively manages all projects and timelines


* Seeks out and executes ways to streamline team processes


* Reviews creative executions ensuring work aligns with the project goals, stakeholder expectations and the Equifax Brand


* Provides, manages, and supports Equifax Online Store and Image Library resources for correct brand executions by broader audiences


* Ensures resource vendors for the Creative team are optimized


* Leads production vendor management for all Creative projects aligning the best vendor for each project and manages all facets the project from inception to completion



What experience you need:

* A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a traffic/production role with a creative agency or in-house creative team


* Expert in Workfront/Wrike project management software is required


* Bachelor's degree is required


* Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail


* Analytical, problem solver by nature


* Ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects at the same time, following process and demonstrate flexibility when needed


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders


* Ability to work with vendors and clearly explain our needs and expectations
