Job Description

A quality assurance engineer creates tests to find any problems with software before the product is launched. They identify and analyze any bugs found during testing and document them. They also must to pay very close attention to detail and coach their team on managing testing tools, reporting results, and motivating process improvement. A normal work day for a quality assurance engineer includes developing new tests to run, running the tests, and documenting the results; if any defects are noted the quality assurance engineers will need to collaborate with the software developers to find a fix and patch the program. Once the defect has been patched, they will need to run the test again to make sure there are no new bugs and to make sure the defect found has been corrected. Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.

• Identify, report, and track software defects to resolution.

• Collaborate with development and product teams to improve quality practices.

• Mentor and guide QA team members to ensure adherence to best practices.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team and processes.

• Streaming Experience is mandatory

• Define, implement, and scale testing strategies across Alembic's product and data pipelines

Job Description:
• Participate in maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D. • Schedule and perform internal quality audits in accordance with published schedules and procedures or specifications. Identify, document and correct non-compliance issues.• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations for manufacturing and quality issues. Issue internal corrective actions and monitor follow-up for effective. • Perform supplier audits/surveys, when required, to assure compliance with specific quality requirements. Issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests as needed, and work with supplier to determine root cause and corrective/preventive measures to eliminate recurrence of issues.• Monitor metrology and calibration activities to ensure quality objectives are being met and that adequate procedures and work instructions are in place.• Perform annual employee training to meet regulatory and AS9100 requirements including AS9100 awareness training, FOD, ESD and ITAR.• Perform AOI (automated optical inspection), creating recipes to support production operations.

Description:

• Work with wireless applications, systems, and devices.
• Work with Motorola to operate the Platform Stability Lab and Motorola devices.
• Develop new automated test scripts to test new features and experiences.
• Load stability racks with new software loads and start the automated stability test.
• Ensure stability racks and the monkey racks are launched correctly on the new software each day.
• Assess overnight performance of the rack each morning, check and fix any failing test cases, and report any irregularities observed.
• Add stability test capabilities and scripts to test new experiences and features.
• Increase the level of automation and debugging capability so breakage can be detected and repaired faster.
• Ensure test results are displayed correctly on the apps dev web page daily.
