We're looking for a highly skilled and passionate Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Leader with deep expertise in test automation to guide our quality initiatives. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for defining and implementing our QA strategy, building and mentoring a high-performing QA team, and driving the adoption of robust test automation frameworks and practices. You'll ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance, playing a critical part in our product development lifecycle.
You will:
Define, develop, and implement the overall QA strategy and roadmap, aligning it with company objectives and product release cycles.
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient test automation frameworks and solutions (e.g., UI, API, performance, security automation). Drive the adoption of automation best practices across all projects.
Build, mentor, and grow a talented team of QA engineers and automation specialists. Foster a culture of quality, continuous learning, and innovation within the team.
Establish and optimize QA processes, methodologies, and standards (e.g., test planning, test case management, defect tracking, release criteria).
Work closely with product management, engineering leads, and other cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment.
Oversee the creation of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data. Monitor test execution, analyze results, and report on quality metrics.
Establish effective defect reporting, tracking, and resolution processes.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement QA tools and technologies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Guide the implementation of performance, load, and scalability testing strategies to ensure product robustness.
You bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance , with at least 3+ years in a leadership or senior-level role managing QA teams or initiatives.
Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and implementing test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and/or API applications.
Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, Pytest, Postman, Rest Assured ).
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile (Scrum, Kanban).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the build process.
Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Define and track key quality metrics to measure effectiveness and drive continuous Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You must be eligible to work in the United States without need of sponsorship now or in the future.

Position Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts to achieve peak performance through collaboration and engagement.
Act as a key representative for Manual Testing to QA and IT leadership, aligning initiatives with company goals.
Prioritize and delegate QA tasks effectively to manage workload and ensure timely project delivery.
Engage in both strategic oversight and direct involvement in testing activities to uphold the highest quality standards.
Establish and refine best practices, policies, and procedures to enhance QA processes and efficiency.
Monitor and report on quality metrics, driving continuous improvement and accountability across the team.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
8+ years of Quality Assurance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or mentoring role.
Proficient in SQL, API testing, and Agile methodologies.

The Quality Assurance Resource Leader makes an impact by-
* Responsible for the leadership and direction of the daily activities of the QA lab, including staffing, scheduling, payroll, job reviews, discipline and other employee requirements.
* Responsible for the overall lab, including budget, ordering of supplies, and other financial requirements.
* Support and be a resource for the Professional QA staff, including assisting with Company training initiatives, SQF and other food safety programs or other needs.
* Support and be a resource for other Turkey Hill departments.
* Coach and support the QA Lab team through a variety of methods, including team meetings, individual discussions, and other developmental opportunities.
* Work with Regulatory and other external personnel on inspections, investigations, and audits involving processes and products.
* Responsible for all reports or required information as requested by Turkey Hill management.
* Manage and continuously improve the Company's On Hold programs for finished products, ingredients, and packaging material.
* Monitor quality conformance for finished and On-Hold products and participate in required sensory evaluations.
* Responsible for all pest-control programs for the plant buildings.
* Continuously work towards improving the Company's Food Safety culture.
* Partner and work with the Safety department on Company initiatives.
* Continuously improve the Company's Environmental Monitoring plan.
* Support the development, implementation, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality.
* Performs all duties within the established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations.
* Performs and holds team accountable to proper safe work practice including PPE and safe lab practices.
You could be a great fit if you have these things-
* Bachelor's degree in a science related field (Food Science, Dairy Science or Microbiology preferred); or five (5) years in a plant/lab setting with prior lead experience.
* Advanced HACCP Certification.
* SQF Practitioner.
* Minimum of three (3) years in a plant or lab setting.
* Previous leadership in a team leader of other lead role strongly preferred.
* Strong communication skills (written and oral).
* Strong analytic and computer skills.

Physical Demands:

* The employee is required to talk and/or hear in a manufacturing setting where noise levels are high (PPE required)
* The employee is required to wear mandated PPE based on assigned job area
* The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in a manufacturing environment for 8+ hours
* The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs, and where applicable and when necessary, to perform various job-related tasks
* Must be able to stoop and bend to perform various job-related tasks
* Must be able to walk, move or traverse throughout the area of assignment to perform various job-related tasks
* Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) in order to operate various types of office equipment
* Must be able to position self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks
* Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus
* Ability to lift 50 pounds and/or push/pull 50 pounds on a regular basis
* Ability to travel to clients, Customers or other work sites by a variety of transportation methods
