- Utilize precision measuring instruments and tools to verify the accuracy of jewelry dimensions, gemstone sizes, and other critical measurements.

Requirements

Role and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with design to ensure TOP sample matches approved PP sample. Inspect weight, color, print and material execution etc. with the support of design. Ensure that all products are produced to the same size and standard as approved PP.
- Confirm the vendor has made the product correctly. Accept or reject finished sample items. Follow up on rejected samples for revisions needed from vendors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot any product or packaging issues.
- Review packaging artwork. Initial artwork to be reviewed by email followed by actual labels. Ensure color execution matches pantone, legal information is accurate, paper quality is correct, retails and contents are accurate, bar code scans with proper grade etc.
- Confirm packaging is properly secure to the product to avoid any issues at retail.
- Communicate with sales and customers on customer specific TOPs. Review customer vendor guides to ensure customer TOP is compliant and samples are sent following the customer’s protocol. Work within customer portals as needed.
- Create and maintain a sample requirement library for each customer.
- Record tracking information of any TOPs shared with customers and ensure the TOP is received by the customer. Follow up as needed for customer comments and share comments with vendors.
- Utilize a product milestone report. Monitor packaging and samples that are due to be received. Follow up with vendors to ensure packaging and samples are being sent on time. Record when packaging and samples are received, and when comments have been made.
- Help ensure on time deliveries. Share details with production when delivery is in jeopardy.
- Organize all paperwork, labels and samples for future reference in an efficient manner.
- Monitor all emails internally and externally to ensure efficient communication.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have superior organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using a pantone book.
- Must be able to multitask and work in a collaborative environment.

Job Summary:
New York State Homes and Community Renewal (“HCR”) provides federal Section 8 rental assistance to approximately 47,000 low-income families in 52 counties across New York through a network of 25 Local Administrators (LAs). HCR is currently implementing Emphasys Elite to manage federal Section 8 data.
Section 8 is under the oversight of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”).
Under the general direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, this position will conduct Section 8 Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) audits and perform other quality control and program administration duties on behalf of HCR’s Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (“HCV”) program. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring, training, and providing technical assistance to local staff working at the LAs.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain knowledge of current practices for the Section 8 Management Assessment Program (“SEMAP”), HUD Regulation governing the HCV Program (24 CFR Part 982), and HCV policy outlined in HCR’s Administrative Plan.
- Responsible for generating approximately 500 relevant SEMAP reports from Emphasys Elite at the beginning of each fiscal year.
- Analyze and interpret various reports pertaining to HUD SEMAP and the 14 key performance indicators.
- Conduct 5-10 SEMAP reviews locally, either in person or on-line, to assess the performance of each Local Administrator (LA); conduct required file reviews and report results.
- Identify LAs that are at risk for non-compliance; Select samples from LAs for additional follow up quality assurance and control; conduct a sufficient number of file reviews to meet or exceed the QC goal for that year, as set by the Director. Collect and organize evidence of SEMAP performance from LA files, Emphasys Elite, and HUD secure systems to ensure accuracy of SEMAP reporting requirements.
- Conduct an analytical review of LA operations to identify programmatic errors, application of inappropriate administrative policies and procedures, cost or financial management errors, and data integrity problems.
- Randomly select files and other records for quality assurance monitoring, auditing, tracking, and reporting.
- Evaluate the quality of work. Develop a Quality Assurance Tracking Reporting System and written reports on compliance.
- Prepare accurate and timely quality control reports, including narrative and statistical information on review findings. Reports include careful analysis of the nature and reasons for findings and recommendations for corrective deficiencies.
- Collaborate with appropriate HCV Quality Control staff to analyze LA performance trends.
- Collaborate with appropriate HCV Quality Control staff for the revision and refinement of HCV Quality Control and SEMAP Guidebooks.
- Review monthly Income Discrepancy Reports, Multi-Subsidy Tenant Reports, and Identity Verification Reports using EIV. Conduct outreach to LA’s to ensure that records in Emphasys Elite are updated in a timely manner, and verify corrections have been made.
- Draft reports and other correspondence as necessary.
- Assist with other voucher administrative duties as necessary.

Job Description
**Position Purpose:** The Clinical Quality Assurance RN will work in various capacities to review, monitor and train staff in the Long Term Care Department. Potentially working to review care management activities / records of the Care Management Teams and / or activities / clinical documentation submitted by the Intake Specialist. The Clinical Quality Assurance RN will review for to confirm accuracy and monitor timeliness in accordance with the Fidelis Care's policies and regulatory standards, ensuring adherence to departmental and regulatory data integrity standards and requirements including contractual obligations with State and Federal agencies such as New York State Department of Health (NYDOH), County Department of Health (CDOH), Local Department of Social Services and Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The Clinical Quality Assurance RN will also create, analyze, report and maintain metrics and processes in support of department and all relevant NYS programs and product lines. The Clinical Quality Assurance RN will ensure that their findings are summarized and reported to applicable management and take the specific focus / emphasis of relaying finding directly to staff and partnering with management to directly train and retrain staff. The Clinical Quality Assurance RN will take ownership to ensure staff members reach a level of competence in their assigned role and will devise individual plans in assisting staff in reaching the desired level of performance. The Clinical Quality Assurance RN will spend time in the field while reviewing Intake Specialist work and will actively coach and develop staff with real time training and real time feedback.
+ Review clinical documentation in order to ensure that all components of the Member's medical record are completed with quality standards and accuracy following the Company's policies and State regulations.
+ Maintain a tracking tool that will log unacceptable areas in the workflow and staff documentation performance indicating improvement is needed for discussion with management and/or at departmental team meetings.
+ Conduct monthly one-to-one sessions with Assessment nurses to provide re-education on best practices and clinical documentation.
+ Participate in educational and management meetings to improve clinical core measures and RN quality assessment documentations.
+ Assist with special projects as assigned to meet departmental goals and policies.
+ Act as a liaison between Field Nurses and Nurse Supervisors to improve clinical processes and workflow communication.
+ Assist with gathering data for routine reporting with other team members to be used for day-to-day purposes and at meetings.
+ Assist the Manager, as needed, to determine areas that require immediate remediation and assist Fidelis Care's employees to stay ahead of changing information while improving the quality and effectiveness of documentation being submitted.
+ Participate in training-related projects and identify training sessions that will support staff development as well as assist with the training of new employees.
+ Prepare various reports and correspondences as well as provide summary reports to highlight key findings for implementation of performance improvement plans.
+ Work with colleagues across business units such as Care Management and Regulatory Compliance to ensure that process and procedural changes are reflected in the clinical documentation of the Assessment Nurses' such as job aids and policies.
**Education/Experience:** BA/BS - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required. Knowledge of Department of Health (DOH) and Local Department of Social Services and Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS regulations). Working in a home care environment or as a staff nurse in an acute, sub-acute or long-term care (LTC) setting or managed long-term care plan (MLTCP); Geriatrics, Medical Surgical Nursing, Case Management or Discharge Planning. Certification courses or other higher education in nursing, healthcare administration, business, operations management or other related discipline. Proficiency with healthcare terminology such as ICD 10 codes, medical abbreviations, medications. Experience in medical records review, claims processing or utilization and case management in a clinical practice or managed care organization. Experience analyzing various types of data and processes in a versatile manner including ability to present findings and make recommendations. Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to edit, search, sort/filter, format/use styles, create tables, calculate data using functions and formulas and create/use PivotTables for analyzing data.
**License/Certification:** Active NY RN License. Bilingual language preferences: Spanish, Russian, French, Creole, Mandarin, Shanghainese, Suzho, Cantonese, Toishanese, Fujianese, Fukanese, Fuzhounese Hindi, Bengali, Urdu or Nepali.
State registration with the Uniform Assessment System (UAS) for long-term care in NY State is required to access for training, testing and system usage. Upon completion of UAS training, the State will administer testing online. If a passing score is not achieved, the State will allow the individual to retake the test once. The UAS access is a necessity for this position, so employment is contingent on acceptance and continued authorization by the State to have UAS access.Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year
