The Manager, Compliance oversees the day-to-day activities for the Compliance team, testing business units to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and/or procedural requirements. Maintains expert knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and standards to amend or correct business practices. Prepares and responds to requests for information related to compliance testing for regulatory exams and audits. Provides the daily work direction, resource allocation, and communication for the Compliance team. Develops relationships with business units through effective challenge and collaboration to foster culture of compliance. Provides expertise to senior leadership and associates on compliance-related matters. Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to program policies, procedures, and efficiencies to meet objectives. Implements improvements to the testing processes, systems, and programs in accordance with strategic objectives and external laws/rules. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Participates in projects related to compliance and regulatory risk.
- Sets day-to-day work direction, resource allocation, and communication for Compliance team.
- Recommends enhancements to management on potential corrective solutions.
- Provides timely and accurate information or feedback pursuant on investigations or audit reviews.
- Provides weekly status reports to senior leadership on all ongoing investigations and trends.
