Job purpose:
- Manages a portfolio of R&D projects using applied scientific and engineering principles in the area of advanced engineering and manufacturing technologies with both internal and external partners. Will be responsible for proposing new research activities and leading teams of cross-functional direct and/or indirect researchers in the execution of research activities. Specific areas include, but are not limited to, design and manufacture of battery cells and components, efficiency improvement using Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) methodologies, emerging manufacturing technologies, semiconductors, and quantum computing. Will use Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and industry knowledge to help develop research strategies.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead all aspects of research projects and independently manage technical program resources including leading direct and/or indirect reports and while maintaining leading knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories.
- Builds the capability of less experienced team members.
- As a Subject Matter Expert, fosters development of new research areas, proposing and leading all aspects of new activities independently.
- Within assigned R&D activities, identify root cause of highly technical and multidisciplinary problems and develop plans, designs, test systems, materials, techniques and processes to achieve objectives.

- Should be able to work in office at least 4 business days per workweek at the Honda ADC, Raymond, OH.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Majors: Computer Engineering / Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical / Electronics / Applied Physics / Computational Mathematics / Quantum Mechanics, etc)
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Passion for research, solving hard problems, and challenging the status quo.
- Semiconductor manufacturing experience. Testing and validation
- Specifying requirements for semiconductor devices and components
- Setting up and validation of optimization simulations
- Multi-physics simulations
- Project management including development of SOW with external partners, and maintenance of budget and deliverable schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams
- Confidently make autonomous decisions bounded by the research mission and understanding of the company business model.
- Clearly communicate new research and technology concepts and ideas to technical team members and management.
- Scientifically analyze data provided from tests and experiments to gather knowledge and understanding of the subject of research.
- Oversee overall research project schedule, budget, and direction.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with photolithography, semiconductor assembly and packaging
- Familiarity with various IC architectures
- Familiarity in developing ML/AI workflows, agentic models
- Experience with quantum computing simulations

Job Purpose
Develop the North America Quality Management System (QMS) including identification/resolution of business practice concerns, assuring compliance to ISO9001, and assuring compliance to government Conformity of Production (CoP) requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- As a regional function, develop, maintain, and assure adherence to the North American Quality Management System (QMS) through leadership of the Regional Quality Standardization committee.
- Identify and resolve issues to improve business practices involving QMS compliance by leading working groups with QMS representatives and subject matter experts.
- Integrate requirements for improvements from internal sources such as ISO9001 compliance audits, risk assessments, and regular PDCA, as well as external sources such as normal warranty issues, recalls, government audits and external ISO9001 compliance audits.
- Strategically lead the development of solutions through guided expert recommendations to plant and business unit QMS representatives while building horizontal consensus across all HDMA locations for consistent application.
- Build consensus with all levels of management in the North American factories and business units to determine how to change business operations to improve quality.
- Good understanding of Global Honda Quality Standards (GHQS) and how they apply to North America.
- Develop clear QMS supplements, standards and procedures.

- Lead auditor for ISO9001 internal audits and support external audits.

- Collaborate with factory Assistant Chief Inspecting Engineers (ACIE’s) to implement control plans and prepare for government audits.
- Lead government audits to allow sale of our products in countries requiring CoP.
- Develop countermeasures to identified Gov't Regulation conformity concerns using Honda problem solving methods.
- Regional System Owner / Administration

As a Mobile Quality Assurance/Automation Engineer - Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking - Digital Technology Team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Perform testing of system software to ensure quality and functionality
- Plan and coordinate various testing activities to achieve project objectives
- Supervise the creation of test cases and manage the resolution of defects
- Exhibit proven expertise in scrum methodologies, as well as functional, integration, and regression testing
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Experience with mobile development and emulator packages (e.g., Android SDK, iOS XCode, SWIFT, Appium).
- Exposure to commercial mobile manual/automation test management packages (e.g., Perfecto, Experitest-SeeTest, MobileLabs).
- Experience with development or test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Selenium Grid, Junit, Jenkins).
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages, Swift, Kotlin, or Java
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Exposure to cloud technologies
