Job Overview

The SEO Content Strategist is a content and copywriting-focused role that supports the expansion of the organic reach for the Bloomingdale's website. The SEO Content Strategist will be involved in the creation of SEO content and copy across many different verticals and families of business and the maintenance and optimization of our website, primarily through the deployment of page optimizations to our website using our internal content management system (CMS).

The primary responsibility will be copywriting, with an expectation of being able to both write original copy and edit the copy of vendors. All copy should be both optimized for search engines as well as speak to the Bloomingdale's customer, with a focus on writing and editing elevated copy that meets the internal Bloomingdale's copywriting style guide. This role supports the complete cycle of content development, and the SEO Content Strategist will also be expected to conduct keyword research to build copy briefs, to provide strategic direction to their copywriting or the copywriting of others.

Training and process documents will be provided to help familiarize the candidate but strong attention to detail and an ability to follow processes will be required. In addition to the SEO department, the SEO Content Strategist will also work with other members of the Bloomingdale's Site, Marketing and Merchandising divisions, as well as outside vendors and agencies.

Essential Functions

  • Copywriting for key landing pages, ensuring that all copy and optimizations adhere to SEO best practices and follow the internal Bloomingdale's copywriting style guide.
  • Reviewing the content output of our agency vendors, independently editing their content and providing feedback.
  • Implement optimizations and copy on landing pages using our CMS (Content Management System).
  • Strategic review of Bloomingdale's SEO performance data using sources like Google Search Console and Adobe Analytics to identify new content opportunities.
  • Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner and SEMrush.

Qualifications and Competencies

Sr. Sales Trainer

Hybrid position located in the Woodbridge, NJ area.

The Sr. Sales Trainer will be responsible for being a strategic thought partner and work collaboratively with the leadership team to drive talent and organizational strategies that help achieve sales goals; conduct onboarding training for all new sales team members; provide support to the company that will develop sales teams and drive talent outcomes.

They will create and conduct training programs that meet onboarding goals and increase employee retention. They will collaborate with team members to create talent development plans that align with business strategies, promote continued learning, and support leadership development.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with local leadership to develop sales strategy and implement that strategy with market leaders and sales reps

  • Drive and aid revenue generation consistently

  • Share best practices between local market groups

  • Conduct training based on company goals and strategies

  • Conduct new hire training onboarding when needed

  • Contribute to and deploy structured training programs for onboarding and ongoing sales training

  • Author and conduct product update and roll-out training in their markets

  • Identify unique learning opportunities to help sales teams meet/exceed sales goals

  • Conduct on-going sales coaching based on the sales team identified gaps

  • Develop strong working relationships with Market Sales leaders

  • Promote on-going leadership education opportunities.

  • Go on sales calls with sales team members to provide coaching and feedback.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related area or equivalent combination of experience and education

  • 5+ years of digital sales experience or media sales experience, digital media sales experience preferred.

  • Enthusiasm for continued learning and sharing of information.

  • Able to identify gaps in team development and develop solutions to close those gaps.

  • Creativity in creating training materials and delivery methods based on market needs to achieve sales objectives.

  • Can build solid working relationships with the leadership team and become part of the management structure.

  • Works closely with market development to meet sales objectives.

  • Build eLearning courses or sales training for our learning management system.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Sales leadership background a plus

  • Training background a plus but not required

  • This job requires reliable transportation to meet with co-workers/clients

As a pivotal player in our digital marketing strategy, you will harness the power of data to optimize campaigns, fuel revenue growth, and elevate customer engagement across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C landscapes. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Marketing for North America, you will be part of an agile team dedicated to building and maintaining a cutting-edge data-driven digital marketing practice. Your expertise will ensure our data up-to-date, well-governed, and also a catalyst for innovation and excellence in marketing and communication. The ideal candidate for this role will sit in our New York, NY or Jersey City, NJ offices. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for data analysis and reporting needs across North America marketing and communication teams. Collaborate with the broader Marketing organization, IT, engineering, product owners, businesses, and external partners to create a strategic marketing data roadmap. Lead cross-functional teams to integrate data sources and ensure seamless data flow and governance. Lead development and presentation of departmental monthly, quarterly, and yearly KPI reporting. Data Strategy & Execution: Design success metrics and campaign KPIs, manage paid media spend, and oversee campaign and department reporting. Develop and implement data-driven strategies to support prospecting efforts, marketing analytics, and sales growth. Drive Data and Engineering teams and projects in order to ensure data is well structured and centralized to create best of class reporting, dashboards and visualization. Build and maintain real-time performance dashboards using tools like Qlik, Power BI, and Google Looker Studio. Advanced Analytics & Insights: Conduct advanced analytics, including predictive modeling and segmentation analysis, to identify high-value leads and inform marketing campaigns. Utilize Google Analytics and other platforms for behavioral analytics to derive insights and tailor strategies. Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize digital marketing spend, focusing on ROI and customer engagement. Project Management: Manage data projects related to onboarding new agencies, webpage redesign, and automation efforts. Establish automated workflows and optimize data pipelines for improved performance and reliability. Ensure reporting tools can display results by various agency distribution segments. Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing analytics, demand-based data-driven digital marketing, or related fields in a sales-focused B2B and B2C environment, preferably in insurance or financial services. Expertise in Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, and data integration processes. Competency in SQL, QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Looker Studio, and data visualization tools. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for advanced data analysis. Strong knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Excellent collaboration skills and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. Experience with marketing automation platforms and data integration processes (e.g., CDP, DMP, CRM, SFMC). Experience working with large datasets, ensuring data quality, integrity, and governance practices. Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and ensuring data governance best practices. Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in data architecture, data modeling, and integrating data from multiple sources. Familiarity with machine learning techniques for predictive analysis and customer segmentation. Familiarity with A/B/MVT Testing & Optimization, and Conversion Funnel Optimization. Understanding of cloud-based data platforms like AWS or Azure. Experience working in Agile teams and using project management software including Jira. Additional Skills Results-oriented with a bias towards action in a self-directed manner that is aligned to leadership and team goals. Ability to create stories through data visualization and present insights to senior leaders. Strong understanding of marketing and data technologies like Medallia, Adobe Experience Manager, and Demandbase. Executive presence and comfort presenting to large groups and small group settings with Executive Stakeholders. Demonstrable ability to independently create executive-level presentations. This role is a critical partner in developing Chubb's data-driven capabilities and ensuring our marketing strategies are informed by robust, actionable insights.
