Job Description
From day one, you'll be empowered by the greater CFO Advisory team to help clients make the moves that will help them achieve their vision and help you achieve more, confidently.
Your day-to-day may include:
+ Perform valuation analysis and modeling
+ Utilize advanced statistical and financial concepts inbuilding models including Monte Carlo simulation, binomial lattice model, and real options
+ Oversee and perform data- and document-intensive financial analysis and modeling/projections, economic and statistical analysis, valuation analysis, and industry research
+ Oversee and perform research to establish positions on valuation matters, document management, referencing from source documents to analysis, and file preparation
+ Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively
+ Maintain active communication with engagement team regarding interim and final deadline, percent of completion, etc.
+ Other duties as assigned
You have the following technical skills and qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline required
+ Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross industry clients at a national level with experience in business valuation and financial instruments required
+ Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
+ Progression towards certification/license such as CFA or other quantitatively intensive certification and valuation credentials such as CVA, ABV preferred
+ Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Stata, C++, R, R Studio, Python with Numpy, Pandas, and/or MATLAB experience preferred
+ Highly analytical with expertise in financial analysis and modeling, econometrics, statistics, and regression analysis
+ Accounting, finance, financial engineering, and economics knowledge; proficiency in US GAAP or IFRS preferred
+ Can travel as needed. Expected travel is up to 15% per year

Your day-to-day may include:
As a CFI Associate your primary responsibility will be executing high quality projects and services from beginning to end under the supervision of experienced CFI leadership. Associates are expected to aid project teams with deliverables, perform detailed financial analysis, and build strong working relationships with clients. In addition, as a CFI Associate you will focus on continuously developing your technical and professional skills to build and expand your role in the CFI and Valuation & Modeling practice.
Throughout engagements, CFI Associates will:
+ Gain an understanding of client operations, processes and business objectives and utilize that knowledge to add value on Valuation & modeling engagements
+ Perform market company and industry research in connection with ongoing engagements
+ Perform detailed financial analysis and interpret various financial and operational information
+ Assist with engagement administration including engagement set up
+ Work closely with the project team to promptly resolve client issues
+ Oversee and perform data- and document-intensive financial analysis and modeling/projections, economic and statistical analysis, valuation analysis, and industry research
+ Oversee and perform research related to engagements as well as document management, referencing from source documents to analysis, and file preparation
+ Write opinion letters and reports

You have the following technical skills, qualifications, and abilities:
+ Master's degree in Finance, Financial Mathematics, Financial Engineering or other quantitative fields
+ Minimum overall and major GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred
+ Willingness and ability to work additional hours and travel to various client sites (as needed)
+ Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
+ Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
+ Effective project and time management skills for handling multiple priorities and simultaneous projects
+ Enthusiasm to learn through a combination of structured, on-the-job and self-directed training
+ Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
