**JOB SUMMARY**
_As a Digital Strategy Partner, you'll work on shaping and executing the organization's digital vision in solving key customer and business problems. The incumbent will work closely with our omni-channel Product Managers in establishing how digital experiences align with business goals/objectives and deliver on customer needs across multiple digital channels, maximizing the value and power of our digital capabilities. This will include establishing the metrics of success that will show us how our digital capabilities meet those objectives. This team member will consider market trends, tech trends, customer behavior data, performance data, customer journey analytics, amongst other data sources to recommend ways that digital channels can contribute to achieving our goals. Key activities include but are not limited to: defining and shaping digital strategy, identifying opportunities to solve business problems with digital technologies, conducting market research, external benchmarking and competitive analysis, conducting data analysis, collaborating with cross-disciplinary product teams (i.e., Product Managers, Designers, Strategists) to develop product roadmaps and initiatives, collaborating with Digital Product Management to bring strategy to life through our digital products, and working with and managing our vendor partners and other stakeholders who support our digital experiences. This role is designed for a big picture thinker and team player - someone who loves architecting digital experiences, driving innovation, and working in a highly matrixed environment!_
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Lead or support key strategic initiatives across Enterprise. Role will vary depending on initiative, but will include elements of team leadership, problem-solving, data analysis, project management, communication, and implementation support. Will participate on a portfolio of projects.
+ Participate in the development of strategic plans for the Enterprise and the key business units of the Enterprise.
+ Support the team in identifying, clarifying, and resolving complex issues critical to the success of the initiative.
+ Support the identification of initiative impacts with other strategic initiatives to ensure alignment of the overall strategy.
+ Help develop standard analytics and processes to use in leading various strategic initiatives.
+ Play a role in shaping the culture and skill set of the organization.

**EDUCATION**
**Required**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, or related field, or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.

Purpose:

Under general supervision, the Social Media Coordinator creates dynamic and original digital content to tell the library's story, cultivate an audience and engage patrons across all social media platforms.
Essential Position Functions
  1. Creates a comprehensive vision and voice for the library's social media presence
  2. Develops creative, engaging, shareable, content-driven stories, photo/video, and copy
  3. Produces the library's digital content from start to finish
  4. Uses proven abilities to develop creative original content to tell the library's story through social media channels
  5. Combines demonstrated social media skills with knowledge of the Library and community to bring the library's unique voice to life and build awareness of our services, collection and programs
  6. Invents online strategies to grow brand presence and increase followers
  7. Identifies relevant trends, news, influencers and other opportunities in the social media space, helping to increase awareness and amplify the library's voice
  8. Develops and grows the library's presence and reach across social platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  9. Manages content calendars for social media and other appropriate digital channels
  10. Works with other members of the community relations team to develop integrated content for use in both print and digital formats
  11. Works collaboratively across departments and buildings to develop appropriate content
  12. Understands and responds to analytics to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of content across all channels
  13. Monitors and responds to social media comments, questions and feedback in a timely manner
  14. Keeps current with emerging digital media behavior, trends and technologies
  15. Attends programs, special events, meetings and serves on committees
Requirements

Education, Training and/or Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations or related field
  2. A minimum of 3-5 years of digital marketing and content management experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics
  1. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and strategies for boosting engagement
  2. Strong interpersonal communication skills
  3. Proven creative ability with exemplary video and other storytelling skills
  4. Strong written and verbal communications skills
  5. Ability to work accurately with attention to detail
  6. Knowledge of desktop publishing and graphic design software
  7. Proficiency with image and video editing software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
Physical Demands
  1. Ability to sit and use computer for extended periods and operate standard office equipment, daily
