The Manager, PLM and Digital Systems leads initiatives to operationalize and optimize recipe management and digital solutions within the PLM ecosystem. Acting as a thought leader, they partner with IS, Demand Creation, and Speed To Market (STM) to develop operating models, ensuring seamless integration between PLM, ERP, and STM. They serve as the PLM liaison for acquisitions and special projects, bringing expertise in PLM processes and workflows. Additionally, they support the PLM user community by developing training materials, providing ongoing education for R&D developers and specialists, and facilitating PLM tasks across functional teams. As a subject matter expert, they represent R&D in technical domains with PLM interdependencies, such as ERP and STM.
Lead and execute high complexity activities regarding recipe management including co-manufactured and international projects. Influence internal and external project teams on project scope and technical research plans on a complex range of recipe management. Utilizing a strong understanding of Rich Products business strategies, and technology to meet project success criteria.
• Line manager of the RIC US/Canada PLM Specialist Team and Global Markets PLM analysts.
• Support ERP Transformation from current PLM standpoint ensuring seamless PLM integration with S4Hana.
• Support PLM Transformation scoping and shaping in service of system modernization, including due diligence, gap assessment initiatives, and inputs to fit for purpose specifications.
• Supports PLM troubleshooting from PLM Specialist Team, RIC, STM and the plants in service of business continuity of workflows. Accountable for creating PLM training materials and training for the RIC organization
• Support M&A initiatives as a PLM system expert

What you'll be doing: Own the frontend experience of Internal Developer Platform (IDP), Coinbase's comprehensive Developer Hub. Build and maintain React components and pages that integrate with Infrastructure products such as release pipelines, configuration management system, asset management system, real-time usage data, quality scores, and service documentation. Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and API publishers to craft workflows that help teams publish, discover, and evaluate APIs. Elevate the quality and design of internal tools used daily by hundreds of engineers. Improve accessibility, performance, and reliability of the IDP UI. Partner with Staff Engineers, Product Managers, Product Designers to influence product roadmap and UX priorities. Contribute to Coinbase's broader design system and internal frontend libraries. What we look for in you: You have at least 2+ years of building modern, data-rich web applications in React or similar frameworks. You've developed and shipped user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks. You're familiar with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security and usability. You're familiar with product and design lifecycles, and collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers. You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers. **Primary Responsibilities:**
- Lead and participate in the most complex systems analysis, design, and development efforts
- Deliver high-level analytical consulting, identifying and implementing innovative uses of information technologies
- Provide technical leadership for complex projects, guiding less experienced developers
- Coordinate and oversee development tasks, preparing and managing technical components of project plans
- Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Technology staff from analysis to user acceptance testing

**Scope of Responsibilities:**

**Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:**
- Oversees and mentors less experienced staff

**Education and Experience Required:**
- Associate's degree and minimum 6 years of systems analysis/application development experience, or
- In lieu of a degree, 8+ years combined higher education and work experience, including 6+ years in systems analysis/application development
- Strong technical proficiency in:
- Java / Spring Boot
- Salesforce / Apex
- Azure App Services
- Familiarity with GitLab, CopyStorm, and DevOps methodologies
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple, complex projects
- Experience driving project milestones and mentoring teams
**Education and Experience Preferred:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Expertise in the Bank's application frameworks and integration models
- Subject matter expertise with applications supported
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects outside of business-as-usual environments
