Job Description
The .NET MVC Web Developer supports the F/A-18 & EA-18G Integrated Project Team. The F/A-18 IPT has several legacy applications in addition to new applications in development and in service. All projects are multi-year efforts that support the USN, USMC, and Foreign Military Sales customers. The successful candidate will have experience with web application development in .NET MVC and a demonstrable understanding and experience applying software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of software development principles and applications.
- Contribute to and implement knowledge of standards across teams.
- Develop software applications and participate in task-related software development activities including peer reviews of software design and code.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve reported software anomalies.
- Create, execute, and maintain an enterprise-level automation testing strategy and automation test framework for a given set of automation tools and level of standardization.
- Provide mentorship and guidance within the team and organization.
- Partner with leadership teams and stakeholders to drive projects forward.
Required Skills
- Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's Degree (or work experience equivalent) in disciplines with strong software experience will be considered, plus 15 years of relevant experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Software development life cycle, agile methodology
• Strong programming experience with C++ AND Python
• Bachelors/Master's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
Desired Skills:
Demonstrated experience with the following:
• Real-time embedded OFP/Vehicle Management System/ Avionics/Flight software development
• Experience with RTOS, Embedded Linux
• Strong C++/C, Object Oriented programming and design, Visual Studio Code, Cameo modeling
• WOSA
• Experience with Requirements Development and Model Based Systems Engineering.
• Software development for FPGA based hardware (Verilog experience is a plus)
• DevSecOps, code analysis, SIL/HWIL(iHAWK experience is a plus), Vehicle software verification experience
• Low level Software programming(microcontrollers/FPGA/device drivers), Communication protocols (RS232, RS 422/485, UDP)
• Experience with UML/Rhapsody/Cameo Modeling, Verilog, XML, python, requirements definition, design, development, SW/HW/FCS/CLAW integration, Unit Test development.
• Experience with Matlab Simulink or similar modeling tools.
• The software development process in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking)
• Git, CI/CD pipeline experience (like GitLab), Windows/Linux
• Good team player, interpersonal skills, self-starter, willing to learn.
• Good Oral and written communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics
• Strong decision making and judgment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $57,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
