POSITION SUMMARY

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

At least 10 years of experience in systems analysis and application program development

8+ years of experience either managing large software development teams or serving as a Technical Lead / Advisor responsible for technical decision / direction

At least 5 years of experience building Enterprise solutions and managing client requirements and technical solutions

5+ years of development experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, Springboot

5+ years of experience with Agile software development

3+ years of experience with Cloud Platform experience (GCP or Azure is preferred)

2+ years of experience in a DevOps role worked on Kubernetes, Argo, GIT, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, Docker, JMeter, Artifactory and

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$144,200.00 - $288,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.

As a Staff Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, developing and deploying digital solutions and systems by leveraging advanced technical skills to design and code software applications, perform system testing and debugging, work with cross-functional teams, and influence the overall technical strategy and innovation of digital engineering initiatives.

Expert Java programming knowledge on latest JDK versions, Spring framework

In-depth experience with building application programming interfaces (API) and frameworks

Extensive experience of Microservices Patterns and its right implementation

Extensive experience of the Cloud Native Development practices and 12 factor apps development
Education
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$92,700.00 - $222,480.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
