As a Supply Chain Risk Management Intelligence Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting our Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and Health and Human Services (HHS) Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) efforts. Position Summary
The Supply Chain Manager will lead the Purchasing and Logistics functions for US Valve, and work closely with the platform Sourcing team. The candidate will prioritize and execute sourcing initiatives to reduce supply chain complexity, improve business continuity and achieve material productivity. This role will be responsible for improving supplier performance and developing a best-in class supply base for critical components and overseeing warehousing, shipping and receiving functions. The position will work closely with production to achieve on-time delivery and with finance to ensure a complete and accurate accounting of inventory and will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
8020, Supply Chain and Logistics management
- Manage the overall purchasing function, scheduling, and inventory control as well as all other related purchasing and logistics functions.
- Evaluate raw materials needed for production by working with schedulers, management and MRP systems.
- Manage logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to optimize warehouse functions, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse.
- Collaborates with commercial team to set inventory levels needed to execute expected sales forecasts.
- Identifies supply chain risk and implements counter measures that improves part availability, prevents stock outs and accelerates backlog execution.
- Drives 8020 principles deeper within the organization by using the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) analysis to drive actions.

- Owns all supplier data masters is JDE, keep relevant data updated as required
- Track and expedite delivery to ensure material availability. Resolve discrepancies by comparing purchase orders.
- Be part of a team that performs periodic physical inventories.
- Discuss defective goods with quality control personnel, vendors, and users to determine the cause. Work together to find solutions.
- Responsible for import compliance.
- Actively engages in Daily Management, Monthly Business Reviews, and GEMBA walks.
