Position Overview:

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a knack for luxury construction? We are seeking a Permanent Lead Project Manager to oversee our Luxury Commercial Construction projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of professionals in the execution of high-end, luxury commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This role requires a deep understanding of luxury commercial construction, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of luxury commercial construction projects.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
- Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven working experience in project management in the construction sector, with a minimum of 5 years in luxury commercial construction.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in luxury construction and design.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
