Responsibilities

  • Lead in-depth analyses of Technical Services' business processes, pricing models, and deal structures, including the mechanics of complex transactions; develop strategic insights and solutions that support business scaling and profitability goals

  • Collaborate closely with FP&A to integrate financial and budget considerations into headcount planning and resource allocation for Technical Services, aligning operational initiatives with broader fiscal objectives

Skills & Attributes

  • 10+ years of hands-on analytics and business reporting experience (or 5+ years of experience with MBA or equivalent degree), ideally within or partnering with customer-facing organizations

  • Skilled in cleaning, transforming, and integrating data through programmatic methods like Python and SQL, with a demonstrated ability to support advanced FP&A models and planning tools

  • Extensive understanding of complex sales processes, SaaS subscriptions, and deal mechanics with proven skills in employing data analysis techniques to inform high-level executive decisions

About the Role

Under the direction and supervision of the Training and Compliance Manager, the Training and Compliance Coordinator assists the T&C manager in making sure the LLNYR Technical Services Team that follows all Merlin Groups, LLNYR Health and Safety Standards, OSHA and ANSI codes, and NYS and Local Municipality Codes. Helps to develop, implement, and monitor robust engineering, safety and training compliance strategies and procedures across the entire Technical Services Department.

Role Description

The Training and Compliance Coordinator's responsibilities will be, but not limited to, the following:

  • Provide a strategic approach to compliance management in respect of ride safety and other maintenance processes as necessary.

  • Help develop comprehensive records and procedures for compliance management purposes.

  • Conduct audits of preventative and reactive maintenance activities to ensure compliance with internal standards, ride manufacturers OEM’s and any third-party recommendations/requirements in respect of ride hardware.

  • Ensure that all maintenance-related risk assessments are completed and reviewed in line with company policies and that they are of a suitable and sufficient standard.

  • Develop new and review existing safe systems of work/standard operating procedures for maintenance operations and ensure that these are followed accordingly.

  • To assist the Technical Services teams with technical or procedural queries, giving hands on assistance when necessary.

  • Ensure that effective training programs for maintenance personnel are embedded into the dept. and executed appropriately with regard to the delivery of ride specific maintenance tasks as well as general health & safety training e.g. work at height, manual handling, lifting equipment operation etc.

  • Ensure that an effective system is in place for preventative and reactive maintenance and that all such maintenance is progressed to a satisfactory conclusion with adequate supporting records.

  • Liaise closely with the attractions and corporate health and safety teams to ensure a consistent approach to safety management in line with local and corporate safety policies.

  • Other tasks as assigned per business need.

Qualifications & Experience

About You

  • Previous Rides Maintenance Experience a plus.

  • Good organizational skills are necessary to take charge of organizing training and training classes.

  • The ability to manage multiple projects at one time in an efficient and timely manner is important in this position.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills are crucial for editing training documents and doing training classes.

  • Problem-solving skills to come up with ways to improve overall efficiency and overcome training problems.

  • OSHA 10 for General Industry a plus.

  • Ability to sit for OSHA 30.

  • Previous Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Previous Experience with NetSuite.

  • Previous Experience with Asset Management Systems, like HxGN, Maximo, CMMS, Asset Panda a plus.

  • Strong communication skills to encourage an effective team environment.

  • Ensures internal compliance with maintenance, safety and security procedures by following established ASTM (American Society for Testing & Materials International), NEC (National Electrical Code), NSF (National Science Foundation), OHSA as well as state and local codes.

Overview

The Technical Services Engineer (TSE) I is a technical expert who supports Integrated Solutions (IS) project delivery as a member ofIS Technical Services (TS) team. The TSE will provide technical authority and direction in the development and successful implementation of energy conservation measures for retro-commissioning (RCx) activities.The role provides technical authority in all phases of the commissioning (Cx) process and collaborates with the engineer of record in system optimization, and solutions development in the field. Additionally the TSE supports standards and process development, as well as training and mentorship of TS staff. The role works in close collaboration with project energy managers, and TS team managers to ensure project outcomes are met.

A TSE has a very high level of experience and expertise in the fields of MEP design and implementation with emphasis on building automation and energy management.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Engineering

  • Provides technical assistance to pre-engineering teams during data collection surveys.

  • Design and Pre-Construction

  • Leads site surveys to determine existing facility conditions and the requirements to complete the scope of work.

  • Develops energy conservation strategies to execute the project scope of work related to retro-commissioning and assists design team with integration of all energy conservation strategies to ensure all systems have a comprehensive and unified approach to energy management.

  • Reviews Requests For Proposals (RFPs) for equipment and services procurement to ensure project outcomes are accounted for.

  • Collaborates with the engineering of projects in accordance with engineering best practices, company standards, and in compliance with any and all applicable codes.

  • Assists the project team with review of critical equipment and system submittals for conformance with contract documents and project outcome requirements.

  • Conducts commissioning and occasional peer reviews of design documents.

  • Advises the project team, in collaboration with the engineer of record, on the technical and resource requirements necessary to meet project outcomes

  • Construction and Acceptance

  • Assists the project team with site visits to review progress, quality of installation, and identify deficiencies.

  • Troubleshoots equipment/system installation and setup problems.

Overview

The Technical Services Engineer (TSE) I is a technical expert who supports Integrated Solutions (IS) project delivery as a member ofIS Technical Services (TS) team. The TSE will provide technical authority and direction in the development and successful implementation of energy conservation measures for retro-commissioning (RCx) activities.The role provides technical authority in all phases of the commissioning (Cx) process and collaborates with the engineer of record in system optimization, and solutions development in the field. Additionally the TSE supports standards and process development, as well as training and mentorship of TS staff. The role works in close collaboration with project energy managers, and TS team managers to ensure project outcomes are met.

A TSE has a very high level of experience and expertise in the fields of MEP design and implementation with emphasis on building automation and energy management.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Engineering
    • Provides technical assistance to pre-engineering teams during data collection surveys.
  • Design and Pre-Construction
    • Leads site surveys to determine existing facility conditions and the requirements to complete the scope of work.
    • Develops energy conservation strategies to execute the project scope of work related to retro-commissioning and assists design team with integration of all energy conservation strategies to ensure all systems have a comprehensive and unified approach to energy management.
    • Reviews Requests For Proposals (RFPs) for equipment and services procurement to ensure project outcomes are accounted for.
    • Collaborates with the engineering of projects in accordance with engineering best practices, company standards, and in compliance with any and all applicable codes.
