- Respond promptly to Level 1 and Level 2 IT Help Desk issues, providing support to staff on desktop and infrastructure-related concerns.
- Proactively learn and support company IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, backups, networks, cloud, and security systems.
- Assist the IT Manager on special infrastructure projects, contributing to the implementation and maintenance of IT initiatives.
- Deliver excellent customer service by helping staff with technology-related questions, showing empathy and clear communication.

- Support the creation and upkeep of IT documentation, including a configuration management database and IT Help Desk procedures.

Physical and Environmental Standards:
Most work is performed indoors in a busy office environment with frequent noise and interruptions. Some work will include driving to each of the Community's facilities in all weather conditions-heat, wind, rain, snow, and cold. Strong situational awareness and adherence to safe driving practices are essential to ensure personal and public safety while working within a vehicle.
The role requires the ability to frequently sit, walk, stand, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and lift, as well as push or pull. Upper body strength is necessary to lift/remove up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates must be able to stand, walk, or move around for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
Manual dexterity is required for tasks such as typing, writing, using a calculator, and answering the phone. The ability to communicate effectively by talking and hearing via telephone and in person is essential.
Vision requirements include both near and far acuity.

Should have a solid foundation in IT support, particularly in handling Level 1 and Level 2 Help Desk issues, along with strong desktop support skills.
Must have basic knowledge of core IT infrastructure components, including computers, servers, backups, networks, cloud environments, and security systems. Familiarity with security standards and best practices is essential, as is the ability to manage privileged accounts with integrity and handle confidential information responsibly.
Strong customer service skills are also crucial for this role, as it involves assisting staff with technology-related questions and issues. Must be able to communicate technical information clearly and empathetically to users of varying technical abilities. Should have a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new systems and technologies, with a willingness to pursue certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, and potentially vendor-specific credentials like CCNA or Microsoft Azure.
Must possess a valid driver's license, a clean motor vehicle record, and meet all HRCA driving policy standards, including pre-approval to drive from the HRCA insurance carrier.
