We are seeking an Information Technology (IT) Lead/Manager, to support our classified customer in Washington, DC. Peraton has been supporting our classified customer for 20 years and has a history of supporting building some of the most important & technically advanced applications.

The Lead/Manager in this lateral position and is focused on program/project management and personnel management in additional to their current customer duties.

Our unique program delivers advanced, technical infrastructure support for our customer and its relative nodes over the world. The team provides Software and System Engineering, Software and System Development and Operations (DevOps) services, Data Science, Big Data and Entity Resolution Engineering services advanced data discovery, analytics, exploitation, and visualization capabilities through application development and tools integration.

The IT Lead Manager in this role is focused on program/project management and personnel management.

The IT Lead/Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Assist the Program Manager with contract execution and be available to fill in when he/she is not available.
  • Participate and attend corporate functions, such as staffing, financial reporting/forecasting, security, subcontracts, etc. to gain exposure.
  • Manages the staffing through the appropriate hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR.
  • Manages and approves employee time-cards.
  • Provides informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback in the annual performance evaluation process to identify and develop talent.
  • Conduct one on one's with team members. Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each employee and provide constructive feedback.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The hourly pay range for this position is $37.35 to $61.86. 10% Researches emerging domain trends to determine their relevancy and fit for the organization.
10% Participates in vendor evaluation and selection process broadly; facilitates vendor evaluation and selection for domain-specific tooling. Represent the architecture domain in the drafting of RFIs/RFPs and the evaluation / scoring of vendor proposals.
10% Performs development / enhancement of architecture domain methods and tools. Ensure the alignment / integration of domain architecture processes / deliverables with those of other architecture domains and SDLC disciplines. Performs development of domain related communications / education materiel for use with stakeholders and architecture / SDLC partners.
5% Leads domain assessment of new / proposed projects for architecture impacts in support of annual planning, resource estimation, and alignment with IT strategy and enterprise architecture. Provide input to project, product, and enterprise technology roadmaps. Provide regular reporting on progress, issues, and opportunities related to architecture domain.

OBJECTIVE

Dhara is currently seeking a Senior Information Technology Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in the National Capital Region, Florida or possibly remote location with TS clearance and SCI eligibility. The qualified applicant will become part of Dharas vital role in safeguarding our nations information with MPCO. The MPCO assumes responsibility for modernization, management, integration, operation, maintenance, and sustainment of the MPE capabilities, including numerous legacy capabilities. The MPCO also provides DoD-wide enterprise-level development, integration, systems engineering, and synchronized delivery of mission capabilities and DoD-wide enterprise services that support interagency, multinational, coalition and combined C2I coalition information sharing requirements. These capabilities include cross-domain solutions, cybersecurity, and interoperability testing. The MPE is designed and optimized to meet the Commanders critical interoperability requirements across all warfighting functions and allow access to information by authorized users. The MPE also provides users access to common warfighter functions and mission applications with the goal of a standardized network infrastructure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, configure, script, and implement the technical solution of the CSDM and ITOM platform, handing off to in-house ServiceNow team for ownership
  • Collaborate with the Programs in-house ServiceNow team on the ServiceNow architecture and requirements for ITOM, Discovery, the CSDM, and Service Mapping, including ensuring requirements are documented in Epics and Stories
  • Solution, develop, and implement capabilities within the ServiceNow platform, collaborating with and following the in-house ServiceNow teams software development processes
  • Work with program representatives to implement the ServiceNow CSDM and align data and content to the model
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate ServiceNow modules and features to address specific business needs
  • Design and develop ServiceNow Tables, Fields, Forms, and Access Controls
  • Create Business Rules, ACLs, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Macros, UI Scripts, and Catalog Forms
  • Troubleshoot and repair common configuration issues in ServiceNow
  • Automate activities on the ServiceNow platform using Flow Designer and/or Workflow Engine
  • Build data sets and transform maps for importing data from other sources into ServiceNow
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using JDBC, REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub
  • Perform research in response to questions and requests for information and document responses in the form of knowledge articles and white papers
  • Provide the necessary technical guidance enabling comprehensive ServiceNow solution designs, including application architecture, data models, workflows, and integrations
  • Establish and communicate ServiceNow technical governance standards regarding data quality, security and access controls
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical users effectively
  • Document all technical work in ServiceNow for knowledge transfer with program teams and Customers
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 7 years of ServiceNow development experience
  • At least 10 years of related IT experience
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITOM, CSDM, and CMDB
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and configuring ServiceNow applications
  • Experience migrating users from legacy systems to ServiceNow and the ServiceNow CSDM
  • Experience creating Business Rules, ACLs, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Macros, UI Scripts, and Catalog Forms
  • Strong technical knowledge of integrating ServiceNow with external systems.
