In this role, you will provide technical support to the Quality Assessments Division as well as other divisions across the Smithers organization. Responsibilities include managing service calls and requests from office and auditor staff, troubleshooting Microsoft software (Windows, Office 365, SharePoint), and supporting other applications such as InforCRM and our custom audit operations management system (BOS).

Duties:

This position is 100% remote within the Bank's footprint. Employee will work full time remote outside of a WesBanco location (may occasionally attend in person meetings, although primary functions of the role are performed remotely).

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Information Systems, Data Management, Business Analytics, or related field required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, data governance, data quality or a related field in the financial services industry required.

Extensive knowledge of data governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices required.

Strong background in data quality management, including issue identification, resolution strategies, and continuous improvement efforts required.

Prior experience in data catalog implementation and management (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica) required.

Proven experience in developing and implementing data policies, standards, and procedures preferred.

Experience working with regulatory bodies and understanding compliance requirements related to data management in financial services preferred.

Demonstrated leadership in data governance, successfully driving adoption of governance programs across the company preferred.

Experience with AI-driven data governance tools for automation and anomaly detection preferred.

Job Description

Summary

The Senior Data Governance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity, quality and governance of the organization's data assets. This role develops and implements governance frameworks, ensures data accuracy and consistency, advances metadata management best practices, and leads data stewardship activities across departments. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with data stewards, business units, support areas, and technology teams to ensure that data governance initiatives support business objectives, operational efficiencies, and regulatory compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned with or without prior notice.

Champions data governance and quality initiatives to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across platforms and business processes.

Defines and implements metadata management best practices, including classification, lineage tracking, and documentation.

Leads data stewardship efforts, working with business units and data owners to establish clear governance roles and responsibilities.

Develops and enforces data governance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Manages multiple governance initiatives, ensuring timely execution and strategic alignment with business objectives.

Supports the implementation and management of a data catalog, optimizing usage for discovery, classification, and governance.

Collaborates with Information Technology, analytics, compliance, and business intelligence teams to embed governance standards into operational workflows.

Provides training and guidance on data stewardship, governance policies, metadata management and business glossary development to drive consistent data understanding.

Stays informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and evolving methodologies to ensure compliance and best practices.

Monitors and reports on data governance and quality metrics, driving accountability and continuous improvements.

Conducts root cause analysis on data quality issues using systems thinking and enterprise-wide data analysis, coordinating resolution strategies across platforms to prevent recurrence.

Leads data quality improvement initiatives across business units and data domains, ensuring continuous enhancement of data integrity.

Ensures data cleansing activities eliminate errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies, supporting accurate reporting and decision-making.

Provides support to data stewards, offering guidance on maintaining data quality within their respective domains.

Oversees and perform data governance tool selection and implementation for quality monitoring and improvement efforts.

Additional Posting Info:

The wage range for the Sr. Enterprise Data Governance Analyst position is $70,000-$75,000 annually. The position includes 22 days of PTO (Paid Time Off), 5 days of STD (Short Term Disability), 11 annual paid holidays and 1 float holiday.

We're seeking a Technology Solutions Architect (TSA) to join our Engineering Center of Excellence. This role supports our sales Organization by developing repeatable, cutting-edge electronic security solutions tailored to client needs. Collaborating closely with sales leadership, the TSA plays a key role in shaping strategy, design, and technology support across regional and national teams.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing subject matter expertise to drive customer discussion on electronic security solution offerings
  • Assist in coordinating communications and activities between the sales teams, local & regional field resources and the pre/post-sales engineering department
  • Act as and be the systems integrations and field applications expert for the sales organization
  • Directs and acts as a technology mentor for sales, costing, engineering, and field implementation
  • Perform customer consultations, presentations, and demonstrations of identified technologies that fit the need for the customer's solution
  • Assist in Securitas events, and external tradeshow, such as, but not limited to GSX, ISC, NRF, RILA, and more
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Conduct detailed field surveys for use in the design development and estimating of a customer's solution
  • Value engineer solutions to meet customer needs and support the sales operations teams to win
  • Support costing & estimating engineers by developing, providing, and collaborating on bill of materials, scope of work, presales device placement drawings and subcontractor collaboration
  • Assists in the preparation of sales proposals by providing pertinent technical information and reviews proposals for technical accuracy and adherence to product standards
  • Advises and interacts with product management regarding product defects and provides customer input on suggested product improvements
  • Support the field teams by selecting standard technology across installations. Where necessary, this includes supporting field installations with understanding of design and solution
  • Provide insight and assist in the process of creating advanced plans when customers are migrating or implementing new technology. This includes technology selection, and project planning
  • Support sales with technology related questions or scope. Help them understand what solution and strategy is required to accomplish a job, specification requirement and to win. This includes attending meetings, walk throughs and scope reviews
Qualification and Education
  • 6+ Years' experience in Electronic Security
  • 5+ Years' experience in designing Electronic Security systems (Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Access Control Systems (ACS), CCTV/ VMS (Video Management System, Visitor Management Systems, Intercom Systems)
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent education and/or experience
  • A valid state driver's license, without restrictions
  • Detailed knowledge of integrated electronic security solutions and design
  • Some knowledge of Fire Alarm & Life Safety Code
  • Working knowledge of Computer Systems & Networking
  • Ability to read & interpret electronic security specifications, perform equipment counts (take off's). Identify cable requirements & distances, as well as calculate power load & battery calculations.
  • Clear, professional communicator with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and clients
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Preferred Skills
  • Consultative sales process experience preferred
  • Field Applications experience preferred
  • Systems Integration experience preferred
  • Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) and Global Security Operations Centers (GSOC) experience preferred
  • Bluebeam and Visio experience preferred
  • Knowledge of high security credentials such as iClass/DESFire & Personal Identity Verification (PIV/FICAM).
  • Understanding / Certification with UL (681 & 2050) & High Security applications/systems.
  • Knowledge of Structured cabling / BICSI Certification / EIA/TIA-568.
  • Understanding of NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) code (Specifically in your assigned area) / NICET Certified.
