DIRECT EXPERIENCE IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY IS REQUIRED
The IT Specialist is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise digital
infrastructure to support scalable operations, acting as the source of control and truth for all
enterprise data and systems. This includes managing portals, troubleshooting technical issues,
supporting store openings, and ensuring cross-system integrity from corporate to store-level
technology. Youll handle a broad range of systemsfrom internal enterprise hubs and Microsoft
tools to POS/app content and network configurations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain internal enterprise data hub(s) for document sharing,
workflow automation, and role-based access control.
Serve as the primary owner and gatekeeper for all internal data systems, ensuring
consistency, access control, and up-to-date content.
Build and manage internal-facing web portals or dashboards for operations, HR,
and other key functions.
Ensure all systems remain scalable, secure, and user-friendly.
Coordinate authentication and access control for team members across enterprise systems.
IT Support & Maintenance
Serve as the first line of response for IT tickets, including hardware issues, account permissions, and network instability.
Track, resolve, and document ticket activity using internal or third-party ticketing systems.
Triage and escalate vendor issues (e.g., Internet downtime, system bugs) as needed.
New Store Openings (NSO) & IT Infrastructure
Coordinate IT setup for new cafes, including internet vendors, WiFi hardware, firewall settings, and POS configuration.
Ensure all network systems, user accounts, and permissions are prepared before store launch.
Liaise with field teams and vendors to test systems and troubleshoot pre-launch issues.
Microsoft Tools & Team Support
Maintain internal communication and productivity tools, including Microsoft 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
Onboard and offboard team members with access to relevant systems.
Create and maintain training documentation.
Toast POS & App Menu Content
Support item setup, pricing updates, and seasonal menu rollouts.
Ensure all content is mirrored accurately across POS and mobile app platforms.
Coordinate testing of new items and push updates through backend systems.
Digital Advertising Support
Assist with technical setup and coordination of store-level or app-integrated digital ad systems.
Collaborate with Marketing to ensure screens, devices, or digital signage are connected and functional.

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.
- Leading the implementation of security programs designed to anticipate, assess, and minimize system vulnerabilities, coordinating the implementation of security programs across platforms (Tier I, II and III) and establishing vulnerability reporting criteria.
- Reviewing proposed new systems, networks, and software designs for potential security risks, recommending mitigation or countermeasures, and resolving integration issues related to the implementation of new systems within the existing infrastructure.
- Assessing new systems design methodologies to improve software quality, accurately representing customer requirements, effectively measuring software development risk, presenting recommendations for adoption of new methodologies to senior management officials, and leading implementation.
- Investigating, evaluating and selecting tools and methods for improving productivity and software quality throughout the life cycle, assessing the feasibility of adopting new software design technologies within the current systems environment, and developing best practices guides for use by other applications software specialists.
- Providing authoritative advice to other specialists in areas such as disaster recovery, capacity planning, applications development, hardware strategy, and operating systems security, and developing and implementing agency guidelines.

BASIC REQUIREMENT : Experience must include Information Technology (IT) related experience that demonstrates each of the following four competencies: 1) Attention to Detail, 2) Customer Service, 3) Oral Communication and 4) Problem Solving.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE FOR GS-14: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes Experience that demonstrates accomplishment of computer project assignments that required a wide range of knowledge of computer requirements and techniques pertinent to the position to be filled. This knowledge is generally demonstrated through assignments that required the ability to analyze a number of alternative approaches in the process of advising management concerning major aspects of IT system design. This would include defining what system interrelationships must be considered, or what operating mode, system software, and/or equipment configuration is most appropriate for a given project.

JOB SUMMARY
In this role, you will work with direction to develop and deliver training programs for various systems and applications used throughout the institution. Duties include, teaching weekly instructor led training sessions for multiple topics, develop and maintain training videos, job aids, eLearning courses, instructor led training programs, and training website content for multiple subject areas. Additionally, you will complete administrative tasks in the learning management system such as adding new courses, running reports, and marking attendance. You will also collaborate with business stakeholders to intake new training requests and to consult on needed updates to existing training material. You will use a variety of software and applications to develop training content and track work assignments which may include Articulate 360, Camtasia, Snagit, Canva, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and more. Finally, you will be responsible for learning and applying new digital accessibility content creation standards to revise existing training materials in support of WCAG 2.1 level A and AA standards. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, typically one day per week in office but may be more based on work assignments.

- Continuously assess and adjust the portfolio to ensure alignment with evolving strategic and operational goals.
- Establish portfolio performance metrics through dashboards and scorecards, analyze trends and ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Educate and coach senior leaders on how to effectively manage their portfolios.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
