Technology Modernization – Workday Director
As a Workday Director within the Technology Modernization Practice, you will help organizations proactively shape and implement their overall strategy and supporting initiatives. Specific to client interaction, you will play a key role in the delivery of engagements and work with chief operating officers, chief financial officers, and other senior client leaders to demonstrate your subject matter expertise as we seek to help them implement solutions in support of their broader strategy and goal of creating value.
Your day-to-day may include:

Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, & build phases

You have the following technical skills, qualifications, and abilities:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Technology, MIS or related field required. A Master’s degree is a plus.

10+ years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of software development lifecycles, key metrics and reports.

Experience with ERP Application Integration & back-end data connectivity applications.

Experience installing/configuring/implementing Oracle Applications.

This is an engineer/design position working within the Building Technologies team. You can expect to design technology systems, determine and coordinate owner project requirements, and collaborate with other team members to produce construction documents. This position will include working on projects in our public, corporate, higher education, arts and culture, science and technology, and healthcare market sectors.
We recognize that there is a wide range of low voltage building systems. The ideal candidate will have some experience in one or more of following technology areas with a strong desire to learn and expand knowledge with new technologies:
- wired and wireless voice and data network infrastructure;
- audiovisual systems including presentation, digital signage, overhead paging, etc.;
- security systems including access control, video surveillance, duress, etc.;
- real time locating systems;
- building management/automation systems; and
- nurse call systems.
- work closely with the Building Technologies team to design and document technology systems as required for our projects and well in a highly collaborative team environment;
- lead meetings with client leadership and stakeholders to discuss project and technology related goals, concepts, budgets and design details;
- strategize with internal and external teams to develop current and future technology solutions for application to our client's organizations;
- work with internal and external teams to develop and implement decision making processes and build consensus around project related decisions;
- work with client teams to understand current technologies and develop strategies and processes to evaluate and implement new technologies;
- clearly and concisely communicates technology concepts to technical and non-technical clientele;
- develop systems designs via various processes and deliverables including: basis of design, functional diagrams, wiring/connectivity diagrams, system flows, bills of materials, specifications, and others;
- be comfortable working within the SD/DD/CD/CA design process;
- exhibit the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and self-motivated who can proactively track and work towards assignments, managing workload within a team environment and seeking assistance when needed;
- have a strong understanding and comfortable with the use of Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office suite;
- be clear, concise, and succinct in written and oral communications; familiar with basic report writing; and
- have excellent interpersonal skills will be needed to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other team members.
You will need to have:
- A B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or other applicable design and engineering field
- 5-10 years of experience in the design of Low Voltage Systems including Telecommunications Infrastructure, Security Systems - Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion/Duress, Audio/Video Systems, Digital Signage and Paging/Sound Masking Systems preferred
- Willingness to obtain certifications in their low voltage specialty
- Professional Engineering license (PE) is preferred
- Willingness to seek and obtain new certifications as needed to perform the role
- Manufacturer certifications in relevant design capabilities and systems/product understanding are a plus
- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and other applicable BIM related tools and software
Salary Information:
The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA's robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs.
