You Will
Responsible for configuring and setting-up PC workstations including image creation and maintenance, user/email accounts, and access permissions to the client's applications and data; procurement of software, hardware, and other IT-related resources; website modifications and updates; mobile device setups including procurement of devices and configuration of management software; and training of end-users.
- Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions
- Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
- Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
- Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
- Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
- Hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Proactively monitor health of all networks to ensure maximum up time
- Provide 1st and 2nd level investigation and resolution of network and firewall incidents, problems, and support
- Implement necessary network and firewall changes
- Plan and develop automated solutions for company processes
- Participate in operational on-call rotation for critical support
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field of study
- Two to five years of experience with business processes, project management and process improvement techniques

Founded in 1971 in Long Island City, Queens **,** LaGuardia Community College is one of seven community colleges of the City University of New York (CUNY). Reporting to the Director of IT Services at LaGuardia Community College, the successful candidate will support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of online learning projects in related initiatives at the College.
In addition to the CUNY Title Overview duties, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating the following:
+ Assists with the implementation of online learning and technology initiatives and professional development for faculty;

Role Description: The Information Technology - Solutions Architect must have 10+ years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for Technical Architecture delivery and support.
You will report under the Architecture Delivery organization, under Digital Nexus to serve the technology transformation needs of the firm.
The focus for this role is to evaluate solution options, document architecture proposals, and consult implementation teams to ensure architecture guidelines are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical design and architectural leadership in Azure Cloud technologies (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) solutions, M365 and Microsoft Power Platform based solutions.
- Conduct consultations with functional and technology domain experts to evaluate solution options
- Develop Technical Architecture Proposal documentation and effectively communicate solutions across standard TOGAF Architecture Layers (including Data, Applications, Network, Security)
- Conduct research and participate in the development of roadmaps – which includes product selection, upgrades, projects, and milestones
- Collaborate with project teams to assist in the solution implementation by providing architectural guidance to application, engineering, and operations teams
- Contribute to the Architecture community of Practice with patterns, standards, and reference architecture for consistency and integration across other technology portfolios
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with migrating platforms and applications from On-premises to Cloud platforms
- Working knowledge of hybrid and IaaS integrations including networking, tenet subscriptions, and cloud frameworks
- Experience with Government Clouds (in any one of Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or other) and can design infrastructure that will comply with NIST requirements; Azure Solution Architect Certification is but not mandatory
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud Architecture including web-based PaaS and DaaS services, Azure Sentinel, Azure M365 products, Azure Defender, Azure Monitoring, AKS, Express Routes, Azure DNS, APIM, App Service Plan, SQL and NoSQL DBs, to name a few
- Ability to effectively develop presentations, architecture functional and technical roadmaps’ present ideas and proposals to all levels of management and technical expertise
- Technical architecture experience using ITIL, TOGAF or other frameworks to define contextual, conceptual, and logical models that align both business and technical capabilities to explain the architecture
- Experience with integration architecture involving Databricks, MuleSoft will be plus.
- Any prior experience in Enterprise Architecture Management, like SAP LeanIX will be .

Position Summary:

The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for resolving a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues, maintaining IT systems, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment through exceptional technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tier 1 and 2 support for end-users across multiple on-premises sites, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Administer, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and changes through ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
- Maintain accurate asset inventories and documentation for supported systems.
- Contribute to the automation of repetitive IT tasks using tools such as PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and system rollouts.

- Support the implementation and adherence to cybersecurity best practices; knowledge of frameworks like NIST, CMMC, or ISO 27001 is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in an IT help desk or technical support role, demonstrating a strong track record of resolving complex issues.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and common business applications.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi) and ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical challenges effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and patient demeanor when assisting users.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Experience working in regulated or security-conscious environments (e.g., DoD, manufacturing, finance).
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent are a plus.
- Travel between local office or site locations as needed (valid driver's license required).
