Credence has an immediate opening for an experienced Information Technology Specialist who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)/IN at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.
AFLCMC/IN is headquartered at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH with units located at Tinker AFB, OK, Robins AFB, GA, Hanscom AFB, MA, Hill AFB, UT, Eglin AFB, FL. The AFLCMC/IN mission is to engage and support AFLCMC programs, projects, technology development and development planning efforts in addressing Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) supportability, and adversary/threat considerations in the form of Acquisition Intelligence (AI) support. The AFLCMC/IN mission also enables linkages to the Air Force and Joint/National Intelligence Communities (IC), provides predictive battle space awareness to local force protection activities, and provides local/regional Special Security Office (SSO) support and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication Services (JWICS) access. AFLCMC/IN is responsible for ensuring information superiority and agile combat support by providing a wide range of intelligence acquisition and sustainment services meeting warfighter requirements for information assurance (IA), communications security, foreign threat and intelligence/force protection products and cyber capabilities. AFLCMC/IN leads the integration of intelligence considerations-both ISR acquisition supportability issues and adversary/threat information-into the Center's programs and projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below- Assist with or learn to assist with COMSEC duties; to include operations and maintenance of Taclanes and vIPer phones.
- Provide IT security business process improvements, enabling better services while realizing efficiencies.
- Assist with or learn to assist with install, maintain, audit and support of a secure MS Windows network environment and web/data application services.
- Assist with Unified Communications Tasks as required. This includes operations and Maintenance of JWICS VoIP, Desktop VTC & Studio VTC systems. It also includes managing the scheduling of VTC's as required by the unit.
- Maintain or learn to maintain DoD and AF internet applications and protocols including but not limited to Internet Protocol (IP), Trusted Computing Protocol (TCP), Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Secure Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTPS), Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
- Maintain file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and system documentation as required.
- Interface with local customers and provide IT related support to quickly resolve problems.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.
- Perform periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades and replacement, firmware updates and system configuration changes.
- Perform or learn to perform scheduled backups on systems as required.
- Manage the data backup library to include storage of tapes, disks and other magnetic media at the customer's location and off-site storage facilities as required
- Attend planning and requirements meetings with IT staff, program managers/analysts and customers as required.
- Prepare system for operational use and support operational tests and inspections.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and quality assurance for AFLCMC/INH team members, upon request.
- Demonstrate some knowledge of current and older AF standard operating systems and server hardware/software including but not limited to: VMWare ESXi, Microsoft Windows 2012/2016 Server, Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems (OS) administration and associated hardware.
- Apply working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and data backup technologies to include COMSEC integration to maintain system operations.
- Plan, install, terminate and test fiber optic cable within the INH SCIF as needed.
- Working knowledge of JAFAN 6/0, DCID/JAFAN 6/3, DCID/JAFAN 6/9, and Joint DODIIS/Cryptologic SCI Information Systems Security Standards, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to certification and accreditation (C&A).
- Familiarity with security policy/manuals and the appropriate DCIDs/JAFANs and other guiding policy documents.
- Work successfully in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DoD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners.
- Provide assistance with the acquisition and sustainment of IT systems for the weapon systems, subsystems, components and equipment.
- Provide assistance with the acquisition and sustainment of IT equipment and software that will ensure contracting training content, presentation capabilities, and facilities are handicapped-accessible and responsive to the needs of the hearing or sight- impaired.
- Learn and apply the security accreditation process as it applies to the JWICS Enterprise.
- Act as DoDIIS Trusted Agent if assigned by the unit and will assist users with obtaining and implementing PKI certificates as required.
- Open and close the SCIF as required during their normal duty day.
- Assist in the operation of the necessary IT systems to ensure standardized file structures and seamless file sharing to execute daily interactions with the SIO, SSO and Staff, as well as the Directorate senior staff.
- Learn, advise, and assist in the development of System Security Management Plans, PPPs, Security Risk Analyses, Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, Computer Certification and Accreditation, Security Vulnerability Analyses, Security Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), and other system security documents identified in MIL-HDBK 1785, DODI 5000.02 and AF Supplement 1.

DoD SkillBridge Internships are available to help transitioning active-duty military personnel gain real-world experience in the work force sometime during their final 180 days of active-duty service. The intern will actively train on meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior company leadership. Program Of Instruction
For this internship, the SkillBridge intern will train as an Information Technology Analyst within HII-Mission Technologies, reporting to a designated HII Supervisor, with the goal of refining and enhancing current Information Technology Analyst fundamentals and principles. The intern will be assigned special projects as needed.
Desired End State (3-4 month target)
+ At the end of four months, the intern will be able to establish accounts, conduct system maintenance, and perform system recovery.

+ Week 10-11: Optimize the function and performance of network hardware and software to ensure IT system availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability
+ Week 12-13: Troubleshoot, identify network problems and develop, coordinate, and implement corrective actions
Phase 3 - Network Troubleshooting & Maintenance and Security Administration
+ Week 14: Support tracking of network equipment and software technology obsolescence and help analyze and prepare trades for future maintenance and replacement in support of IT budget planning
+ Week 15: Provide help desk support for all IT networks and communications systems for on-site and off-site personnel
+ Week 16: Support IT system back-up, data restoration, and disaster recovery
+ Week 17: Support basic maintenance for printers, scanners, monitors, and Keyboard Video Monitor (KVM) switches
+ Week 18: Preparation of required network cyber (IA) documentation
+ Week 19: Developing SOPs, and implementing audits, threat and vulnerability assessments, and applying security-related software tools to manage and control classified information systems

Minimum Qualifications
Active-Duty Military ONLY within final 180 days of active-duty service to actively participate. May apply up to 12 months prior to separation or retirement from active-duty military service.
+ Must have TS/SCI security clearance
+ Must have Bachelor's Degree in a related field, and a minimum of five (5) years' experience maintaining IT systems or a minimum of ten (10) years' experience maintaining IT systems.
+ DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management Level II certification, or equivalent, and 4 years of classified information systems experience working on DoD ACAT I, ACAT II, or ACAT.

As the Conversion and Migration Specialist, you will be converting customer data from competitive databases to Reynolds databases. You will also complete migration of customer data from one Reynolds hardware platform to another. This involves maintaining a good working relationship with customers throughout the conversion or migration process to ensure quality results. You will also be supporting remote and field-based trainers and field engineers on the conversion and migration processes. Through this, you will develop a good working knowledge of competitive products, keep abreast of enhancements to the Reynolds product lines as well as develop knowledge of system environment, integration, and system connectivity for different product lines.

Requirements:- Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field; open to entry-level candidates
