Define fit-for-purpose solution architectures across systems, domains, and applications, aligned to diverse business goals, from system modernization to full platform transformation. Guide solution implementation and review approaches and artifacts across the SDLC, leading enterprise architecture from both functional and technical perspectives. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area Preferred Qualifications: Over 8 years of progressive experience in IT architecture roles, with a proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions across complex environments. 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Architect or Solutions Architect, preferably with hands-on involvement in large-scale business process transformation or organizational change initiatives. Proficiency in enterprise integration patterns, API management, and data architecture. Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architectures. Prior experience leading enterprise digital transformations. Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or SAFe Architect. Function / Position Summary
Support the District Assistive Technology Team members and students who require augmentative communication systems and Assistive technology to access educational programming.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Assist with manual efforts needed to create low tech communication systems (e.g., picture supported communication books, core word boards, eye gaze systems, communication books) made from recommendations of AAC specialists: organize, print out, copy, laminate and distribute for the entire district.
- Travel throughout the district and private placements picking up and dropping off equipment and materials to be shipped.
- Manages warranties for all equipment devices and alerts AAC/AT specialists when purchase requisitions and writes requisition form for all warranties and emails them to Special Ed.
- Obtains quotes so budget can be generated for materials and communication systems
- Maintains equipment inventory and check outs. Tipweb, asset management, remote management for apps.
- Initiates requisition forms and emails to special ed. for new equipment or repairs as requested by AT Team.
- Keep track of sent purchase orders and received/incoming purchases and repairs.
- Assist with programming devices when recommendations for vocabulary is given from AAC/AT specialists.
- Facilitate and troubleshoot repairs of equipment with tech support upon AAC/AT specialist request.
- Research information online and needed topics.
- Update running system and apps for all iPads and high tech communication device.
- Train Teachers, SLP's to model and navigate with AAC devices, based off the AAC Implementation plan. Train staff in student's classroom and model with the student.
- Maintains backups of all iPads and other high tech devices in case of malfunction of device damage through iShare and iCloud.
- Organize transition packets for the following school year for students transitioning or students that have been working with contract therapists.
- Pick up devices needed for summer school or devices that will be stored for the summer.
- Share transition packets with new therapists via email at the beginning of the school year.
- High School Diploma.
- Experience and professional development with high tech devices.
- Bilingual - Spanish/English (written/verbal) preferred.

- Must attend training, obtain required certifications, and follow all safety practices for proper use of district and rented equipment.
