JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:

Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Windows/Linux System Administrator that will be working in a highly collaborative, multi-platform and multi-disciplined environment.The System Administrator will be responsible for administering systems in Azure and AWS Cloud Environments.
The candidate will be responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to a Windows/Linux infrastructure in the cloud (Azure & AWS) environments.
Duties include, but are not limited to, server management; storage management (logical and physical); cross platform authentication and access management; software and license configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing infrastructure operations and support for existing cloud applications and migration of on prem applications to the cloud
* Overseeing cloud operations and designing infrastructure for new workloads
* Continuously improving and maturing cloud services
* Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous RedHat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows environment.
* Working in both cloud (Azure & AWS) and on prem environments.
* Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
* Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
* Previous experience working with CI/CD Pipeline, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 3+ years of Azure experience * Microsoft Azure certification(s)
* MongoDB knowledge is a plus.
* Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform/HCL) for automation tasks and the development of custom scripts to streamline Azure infrastructure management and deployment processes.

Overview:

The System Administrator, Salesforce.com maintains, expands, and enhances the functionality in our Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform to support Vestis’ growth. We utilize Sales, Service, and core platform functionality in SFDC, and the Salesforce.com System Administrators assist in all phases of application design, configuration, support, reporting, and user adoption. Modeling Vestis’ Mission and Values, this role will collaborate, develop and partner with a high-caliber team and build effective relationships with leaders throughout the organization. This role reports to the Director, Sales Force Systems.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for Level I and II type support calls
  • Responsible for working with Salesforce.com Premier Support
  • Perform overall setup, configuration, and maintenance of Salesforce.com
  • Provide support to our National Account Sales and Service Teams with all related Salesforce.com issues or requests
  • Ensure Salesforce.com Sales Policies & Procedures are enforced & maintained
  • Instrumental in our Salesforce.com Change Management Process. Will work closely with the IT department to determine IT project requirements, technical requirements, business impact analysis, user acceptance testing requirements, deployment requirements and training requirements for all projects impacting Salesforce.com
  • Will work with frontline leadership teams to identify enhancements & new SFDC functionality to help Sales & Service grow the business more efficiently and effectively
  • Will work with our Sales Reporting Team and AUS Sales & Operations Leadership to create, design, test and publish new and/or enhanced Sales Reports and Dashboards
  • Update and maintain custom tools built for Vestis that are integrated into our application. You will work closely with software developers (Apex, LWC, & Visualforce) to ensure the custom applications are both current & accurate
  • Work with AppExchange partners where 3rd party solutions are appropriate
  • Supporting the goals of the company’s technological alignment efforts
  • Seeking out and implementing continuous process improvement opportunities
  • Supporting internal communications related to business improvements and processes, system upgrades, and enhancements
  • Build and sustain working relationships with all Vestis functional areas
  • Report on statuses when requested
  • Submit all time and expense reporting procedures accurately and timely
  • Maintain good standing and completion on all compliance related matters (i.e., assigned mandatory trainings, actions required from audits, corporate policies, etc.)
  • Perform all additional duties and responsibilities based on the direction and guidance of supervisor


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Demonstrated system administration skills, including Setup, Configuration, Automation and Flow, with the end user experience in mind.
  • Skilled and proficient in MS Office O365 suite (i.e. Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Communications Tools, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large amounts of data, recognize patterns and trends and organize observations into a clear and useful recommendation or explanation.
  • Ability to operate with a customer-centric service approach
  • Ability to establish performance-based relationships with 3rd party vendors and technology providers and versed in setting standards and measurements for IT processes
  • Ability to effectively define a business case, determine return on investment, and measure achievement of the case over time
  • Ability to manage and work on multiple concurrent deliverables at various stages of development and completion
  • Strong collaboration and team-building skills with the ability to create consensus around decisions and mitigate conflicts among teams
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Professional level verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and quality of work products and communications
  • Willingness to seek out and implement coaching, suggestions, and guidance from others
Working Environment/Safety Requirements:
  • Ensure necessary working environment and capabilities to effectively carry out responsibilities if working from a non-Vestis location (remote work)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
Experience/Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of Systems Administration experience with Salesforce.com, Siebel, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or a comparable SFA/CRM application.
  • 3-5 years of experience within a large sales organization with many sales channels.
  • Experience with DemandTools, Conga, and ZoomInfo preferred.
  • Experience with the use of Project Management methodologies and tools
  • Bachelor degree preferred but not required
  • Be legally able to work in the United States: U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident


License Requirements/Certifications:
  • Salesforce.com Certification (Administrator or App Builder, for example) preferred

Employees are able to enroll in the company’s 401k plan. Employees are eligible for 80 hours of vacation, 16 hours of floating holidays, and paid sick time every year. Employees will also receive 9 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Compensation: The salary rate for this position ranges from $75,000 to $95,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.

Senior Systems Administrator- contract to hire role, onsite in the Dallas, TX

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator who is a proactive problem solver, self-starter, and seasoned technical leader. In this role, you'll lead key infrastructure initiatives, drive smart automation, and help scale IT systems that support a fast-growing organization. You will have a high-impact role in shaping core platforms and processes that serve over 1,000 users in a hybrid, cloud-forward environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and evolve hybrid infrastructure with a focus on Google Workspace , Microsoft Azure AD , and enterprise SaaS platforms .
  • Administer Google Workspace , with expertise in email routing , DNS configuration , SPF/DKIM/DMARC , and Google Directory Services (user lifecycle, groups, org units).
  • Own identity and access management using Azure AD (Entra ID) , including SSO, MFA, conditional access, and cross-platform integrations.
  • Drive automation using tools like PowerShell , Python , or equivalent scripting frameworks.
  • Oversee and support network infrastructure , including vendor-managed systems and services (e.g., configurations, segmentation, monitoring).
  • Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and integrations for tools like Slack , Zoom , and other collaboration platforms.
  • Participate in data and systems migrations , including onboarding of new technologies, user transitions, and application integrations.
  • Collaborate with security, engineering, and compliance teams to uphold standards such as SOC 2 , ISO 27001 , and NIST .
  • Lead cross-functional IT initiatives, including architectural planning, system optimization, and technical project delivery.
  • Maintain clear, accessible documentation for systems, workflows, automation scripts, and support processes.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of IT systems administration experience, including a leadership or ownership role in prior environments.
  • Experience supporting 1,000+ users in medium to large-scale environments with cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong experience with Google Workspace administration , including email architecture, DNS configuration, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and directory services.
  • Expertise in Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and access governance.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell , Python , or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro , including Autopilot deployment (hands-on knowledge, not specialization).
  • Practical experience with managing or supporting network infrastructure across distributed environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Meraki network solutions (switching, firewalls, wireless).
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure , GCP , or AWS .
  • Familiarity with security/compliance best practices ( SOC 2 , ISO 27001 , NIST ).
  • Prior experience supporting or deploying Neat video conferencing hardware .
  • Exposure to modern ITSM platforms such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or Zendesk(optional).
