Rodgers has an immediate need for a Construction Technology Specialist in Charlotte, NC.


Job Overview: The Construction Technology Specialist is responsible for reviewing, implementing, and supporting our investments in construction-related technology.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction-related field of study, or related professional experience
  • Minimum five years of construction management related experience
  • Understanding of day-to-day field operations on a construction site including typical workflows: construction document control, submittals, RFIs, issue management, punch list, safety, scheduling, change orders, cost management
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Windows, Apple iOS devices, Microsoft Office 365 suite including but not limited to Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, Excel
  • Experience with construction management-related applications such as Bluebeam, Autodesk BIM 360, PlanGrid, CMiC, Procore, or other similar software systems
  • Proficiency with some of the following: project scheduling, audio/video editing, drones, 360 photography, 3D modeling, data analysis, computer programming, application development
  • Some travel is required with occasional overnight stays



Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Track existing technology investments for changes and improvements, including testing and implementation of updates
  • Apply technical knowledge to identify areas of improvement in the construction process
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on new and emerging technologies
  • Clearly present information effectively to others in a group or individual setting
  • Coordinate technology pilot projects and provide updates to management
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and implementing of new technologies for the company
  • Work collaboratively or independent, depending on the needs of the position

Technology Modernization – Workday Director

As a Workday Director within the Technology Modernization Practice, you will help organizations proactively shape and implement their overall strategy and supporting initiatives. Specific to client interaction, you will play a key role in the delivery of engagements and work with chief operating officers, chief financial officers, and other senior client leaders to demonstrate your subject matter expertise as we seek to help them implement solutions in support of their broader strategy and goal of creating value.

Your day-to-day may include:
