Technology Modernization – Workday Director
As a Workday Director within the Technology Modernization Practice, you will help organizations proactively shape and implement their overall strategy and supporting initiatives. Specific to client interaction, you will play a key role in the delivery of engagements and work with chief operating officers, chief financial officers, and other senior client leaders to demonstrate your subject matter expertise as we seek to help them implement solutions in support of their broader strategy and goal of creating value.
Your day-to-day may include:

You have the following technical skills, qualifications, and abilities:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Technology, MIS or related field required. A Master’s degree is a plus.

10+ years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of software development lifecycles, key metrics and reports.

Experience with ERP Application Integration & back-end data connectivity applications.

Experience installing/configuring/implementing Oracle Applications.

**Physical Requirements**
The work environment is typical of standard office and banking settings. The position is medium work, exerting up to 35 pounds of force occasionally. Worker sits most of the time, including for meetings and computer work, but worker will frequently stand or walk throughout different areas of the office and when commuting from one banking center to another, to a data center, or to vendor meetings. About the company:
One of our clients is looking for a Technology Design Project Manager with between 6-10 years professional experience in Kansas City! After building half a century of expertise and growing to almost 1k engineers and designers, they are looking for a professional who can confidently design a range of building projects, mainly within the commercial, sports, government, and healthcare sectors.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead design & execution of low voltage & communication system projects (structured cabling, AV, security, network systems) from concept through built system delivery
- Oversee construction phases: ensure design intent is followed, work with contractors on site, perform QA/QC and resolve field issues
- Manage partner relationships that have a technical background; assist with product selection, clarify tech specs, negotiate scope
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, documentation, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Coordinate cross-disciplinary collaboration (MEP, architects, technology teams) to integrate communication/low-voltage systems smoothly
What we're looking for:
- 6-10 years experience in low voltage / communication systems design & project management
- Degree in a related field
- Strong technical understanding of communication/technology systems (e.g. AV, structured cabling, access control, security) plus familiarity with built systems
- Experience with on-site oversight and construction administration
- Proficiency with design tools (CAD/Revit/BIM) and project management software
- Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills

Predicted Salary:
$90,000 to $130,000 (negotiable, dependent on experience)
