**Job Purpose/Overview**
The Customer Support Technical Support Specialist delivers on the Antech Customer Service Vision of unwavering commitment to empathetic and caring veterinary diagnostic support. This position's primary job function is to provide complete and concise support to Antech customers through various media such as over the phone, via email, and through chat support tools as it relates to support of the in-house diagnostics (IHD) portfolio.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Resolves customer problems via telephone, chat, and email by troubleshooting and facilitating remote repair of equipment or response to customer inquiries.
+ Trains and educates customers on the proper use and expectations of equipment and software.
+ Troubleshoots and resolves software integration issues.
+ Provides "first class" customer service.
+ Provides historical information by thoroughly documenting all customer interactions in our CRM software.
+ Provides on-call / after-hours support on a rotating basis.

**Essential Duties:**
The following is a list of the primary tasks of the Construction Superintendent, some of which may be delegated to jobsite personnel, but which require his or her close supervision:
+ Safety - The primary responsibility for job safety rests with the Superintendent. Ensure safety is properly incorporated into job planning and execution; promote accountability among staff members and subcontractors as it relates to the project safety policies; and enforce these policies by actively participating in all safety-related functions.
+ Quality - The Superintendent is responsible for all quality control on the project, both Company and subcontractors. Any repetitive quality problems with a subcontractor or vendor should be called to upper management's attention. The Company has a policy and past record of providing high quality work and this high-quality standard is to be maintained on each project.
+ Job Planning - Development and implementation of the pre-job plan. Make course corrections to the plan as required. Create material handling and site utilization plans.
+ Scheduling - Participate in the project scheduling to the extent necessary to ensure that it is "their schedule" and that it complies with the job planning.
+ Mobilization - Complete specific tasks as assigned in pre-job planning sessions.
+ Coordinate and supervise all Company work forces on the project including employment of laborers and craft persons. The Superintendent has the authority to hire and fire all hourly paid personnel under his or her direct supervision. This also includes the indoctrination of Foreman and holding them accountable.
+ Develop Assistant Superintendents, Coordinators, Engineers, Foremen and craft persons.
+ Personnel evaluation, development, and retention. The Superintendent will be consulted in the assignment of salaried staff. They are responsible for defining what is expected of (goal setting), providing feedback to, and evaluating salaried personnel under his or her direction. They are to recommend promotion, transfers, or termination according to the project's needs and personnel evaluations.
+ Coordinate and schedule all subcontractors - Hold weekly scheduling meetings with all subcontractors' Foremen.
+ Develop forms detailing and special construction methods for job efficiency.
+ Maintain accurate time keeping and cost records.
+ Study labor recaps and cost controls carefully to determine areas needing special attention and initiate changes and procedures to bring costs back into budget.
+ Expedite vendors and subcontractors on a daily and weekly basis.
+ Material Receiving - Be sure that material received is properly inspected for quantity and quality, and that the receiving tickets are properly signed and coded and submitted.
+ Equipment - Equipment needs should be reviewed with their supervisor.
+ Owner Relations - Participate in the Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings. Along with the Project Manager, ensure Owner and Owner's Representatives are aware of changes to schedule, potential conflicts, etc.
+ Be sensitive to special requirements of the customer or neighbors to ensure satisfactory relations.
+ Maintain Project Logs.
**Physical Work Classification & Demands:**
+ Heavy Work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Who You Are
**Required Qualifications**

+ Proficient with building technology principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to project work-related issues.

The University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) seeks an outstanding scholar in space technology to become the Smead Endowed Chair in Space Technology in the Ann and H.J. Smead Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences. This tenured position is targeted at the level of Full Professor and will include responsibility for developing and leading an externally funded research group, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and engaging in university and professional service. Additionally, the Smead Endowed Chair will be a leader in The Smead Program, helping the program grow to be the most prestigious Ph.D. aerospace engineering fellowship program worldwide.
The Smead Endowed Chair in Space Technology recognizes leadership, creativity, and technical excellence in space research. The department is seeking an experienced faculty member in the area of space technology research, a field that includes broad areas of study related to technologies enabling space flight, atmospheric re-entry of Earth or other bodies, technologies to sustain life in space, as well as space-based remote sensing technologies. Tenured faculty in the department typically include 40% teaching, 40% research, and 20% leadership and service.
The Smead Endowed Chair in Space Technology will work closely with the Smead Program Director and other program-affiliated faculty to further enhance and raise the profile of The Smead Program.

**What We Can Offer**
+ The anticipated academic year (9-month) salary range for this position is $75,000 - 250,000, plus a moving allowance and a signing bonus within CEAS guidelines.
+ As the Smead Endowed Chair in Space Technology, the successful candidate will have access to annual discretionary funds in the range of 100,000- 125,000. These funds may be used for costs such as travel, supporting graduate students, equipment, publications, etc. The Smead Endowed Chair in Space Technology may also use up to 10% of the annual discretionary funds as an additional academic year salary for their 9-month appointment.

+ A research doctorate in aerospace, aeronautical, or astronautical engineering, or a closely related engineering or physical/chemical science discipline.
