Primary Purpose
This position is responsible for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the server infrastructure and server security systems managed by the Princeton ISD Technology Department. This position will assist in identifying appropriate solutions to be integrated into system operations and make recommendations for implementation.
Qualifications
Education/Certifications
- High School Diploma
- College degree preferred. Training (corporate, military, certificate) in lieu of college will be considered. Industry experience will be considered in lieu of college
- Technical Certifications preferred (Security+, Linux+, Network+, .)
- Experience with Windows Server
- Experience in Linux operating systems
- Experience in directory services (particularly LDAP & Active Directory)
- Understanding of basic networking principles and troubleshooting
- Scripting skills (Shell, Python, Powershell)
- Advanced hardware & software troubleshooting skills
- Strong understanding of Active Directory
- Versioning control solutions (Git)
