The Information Technology Specialist will join a team of six who are responsible for providing technical support to assigned regions throughout the school district. These positions are the first level of contact from the Technology Department to the customer, and therefore, must have a strong customer focus, excellent communications skills, and well-developed problem-solving skills. This position may also coordinate the student-run IT Help Desk.
| QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of High School diploma or GED;
- Possess CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent OR willing to obtain within 1 year of hire;

AFLCMC/IN is headquartered at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH with units located at Tinker AFB, OK, Robins AFB, GA, Hanscom AFB, MA, Hill AFB, UT, Eglin AFB, FL. The AFLCMC/IN mission is to engage and support AFLCMC programs, projects, technology development and development planning efforts in addressing Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) supportability, and adversary/threat considerations in the form of Acquisition Intelligence (AI) support. The AFLCMC/IN mission also enables linkages to the Air Force and Joint/National Intelligence Communities (IC), provides predictive battle space awareness to local force protection activities, and provides local/regional Special Security Office (SSO) support and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication Services (JWICS) access. AFLCMC/IN is responsible for ensuring information superiority and agile combat support by providing a wide range of intelligence acquisition and sustainment services meeting warfighter requirements for information assurance (IA), communications security, foreign threat and intelligence/force protection products and cyber capabilities. AFLCMC/IN leads the integration of intelligence considerations-both ISR acquisition supportability issues and adversary/threat information-into the Center's programs and projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below- Assist with or learn to assist with COMSEC duties; to include operations and maintenance of Taclanes and vIPer phones.
- Provide IT security business process improvements, enabling better services while realizing efficiencies.
- Assist with or learn to assist with install, maintain, audit and support of a secure MS Windows network environment and web/data application services.
- Assist with Unified Communications Tasks as required. This includes operations and Maintenance of JWICS VoIP, Desktop VTC & Studio VTC systems. It also includes managing the scheduling of VTC's as required by the unit.
- Maintain or learn to maintain DoD and AF internet applications and protocols including but not limited to Internet Protocol (IP), Trusted Computing Protocol (TCP), Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Secure Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTPS), Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
- Maintain file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and system documentation as required.
- Interface with local customers and provide IT related support to quickly resolve problems.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.
- Perform periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades and replacement, firmware updates and system configuration changes.
- Perform or learn to perform scheduled backups on systems as required.
- Manage the data backup library to include storage of tapes, disks and other magnetic media at the customer's location and off-site storage facilities as required
- Attend planning and requirements meetings with IT staff, program managers/analysts and customers as required.
- Prepare system for operational use and support operational tests and inspections.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and quality assurance for AFLCMC/INH team members, upon request.
- Demonstrate some knowledge of current and older AF standard operating systems and server hardware/software including but not limited to: VMWare ESXi, Microsoft Windows 2012/2016 Server, Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems (OS) administration and associated hardware.
- Apply working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and data backup technologies to include COMSEC integration to maintain system operations.
- Plan, install, terminate and test fiber optic cable within the INH SCIF as needed.
- Working knowledge of JAFAN 6/0, DCID/JAFAN 6/3, DCID/JAFAN 6/9, and Joint DODIIS/Cryptologic SCI Information Systems Security Standards, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to certification and accreditation (C&A).
- Familiarity with security policy/manuals and the appropriate DCIDs/JAFANs and other guiding policy documents.
- Work successfully in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DoD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners.
- Provide assistance with the acquisition and sustainment of IT systems for the weapon systems, subsystems, components and equipment.
- Provide assistance with the acquisition and sustainment of IT equipment and software that will ensure contracting training content, presentation capabilities, and facilities are handicapped-accessible and responsive to the needs of the hearing or sight- impaired.
- Learn and apply the security accreditation process as it applies to the JWICS Enterprise.
- Act as DoDIIS Trusted Agent if assigned by the unit and will assist users with obtaining and implementing PKI certificates as required.
- Open and close the SCIF as required during their normal duty day.
- Assist in the operation of the necessary IT systems to ensure standardized file structures and seamless file sharing to execute daily interactions with the SIO, SSO and Staff, as well as the Directorate senior staff.
- Learn, advise, and assist in the development of System Security Management Plans, PPPs, Security Risk Analyses, Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, Computer Certification and Accreditation, Security Vulnerability Analyses, Security Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), and other system security documents identified in MIL-HDBK 1785, DODI 5000.02 and AF Supplement 1.

- MA/MS degree and 10 years of relevant experience or;

The Internal Information Technology (IT) Auditor Senior is responsible for conducting Information Technology operational audits, internal control assessments, strategy reviews, special projects, and risk assessment activities for the enterprise, across all lines of business and functions, in accordance with professional and departmental standards. Minimum Requirements:

The **Internal Information Technology (IT) Auditor Senior** is responsible for conducting Information Technology operational audits, internal control assessments, strategy reviews, special projects, and risk assessment activities for the enterprise, across all lines of business and functions, in accordance with professional and departmental standards. Provides valuable insights to the IT and business to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
**How you will make an impact:**
+ Lead the development and execution of high-quality assessments of the Company's complex IT processes and controls (including statistical data) for accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, and compliance. Assessments include IT general controls (e.g., access and change management) as well as other IT risk areas (e.g., artificial intelligence, IT vendor management, data governance, system migrations).
+ Identify risks and collaborate with team leadership, IT business management and external auditors on audit planning, testing and evaluation procedures, which includes working with the IT business on process, controls, documentation, and issues.
+ Support administration of audit team including scheduling and resource management.
+ Prepare clear, accurate and concise audit work papers that summarize scope, audit plan methodology and conclusions for audit field work to stakeholder groups with limited IT knowledge (e.g., Board of Directors Audit Committee).
+ Provide sufficient evidentiary data to support the work performed.
+ Work with IT business partners to address deficiencies or findings through periodic monitoring and retesting.
+ Review work performed by others, provide recommendations for improvement, and training to new or less experienced auditors.
+ Support internal and external audit/compliance groups with various activities that may include, testing, documentation, client request materials, and data validation.
+ Perform special projects and assignments under direction of department management.
**Minimum Requirements:**
BA/BS in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or related field and a minimum of 3 years in IT Audit, IT internal controls or IT Compliance and at least one professional designation; or 2 years in public accounting (e.g., Big Four firm); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
**Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:**
+ Experience performing operational or risk-based IT audits covering topics outside of traditional IT general controls highly preferred.
+ CIA/CISA/CPA certification or candidate preferred.
+ Subject matter expertise in HIPAA, SOX, SOC1, SOC2, PCI, HITRUST, NIST CSF, ISO 2000x, and/or COBIT preferred.
+ Project management, process improvement, and quality oversight backgrounds preferred.
+ Public accounting (e.g., Big Four) IT audit or consulting experience preferred.
+ Understanding of insurance company operations and regulations preferred.
+ Experience working in a complex IT/IS environment preferred.
+ Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) systems (e.g., Workiva WDesk, Highbond, Audit Board, ServiceNow, etc.) preferred.

SUMMARY
The Applications Specialist provides support for UPM end users on the ERP system and other business applications. Acting as a technology leader and advisor for multiple departments across the company, they will be in constant communication with other UPM team members, within and outside of the IT department, to drive efficiency of current processes as well as using application tools to help develop new processes. Exposure to all levels of UPM procedure, from detailed order entry to widescale strategic initiatives, is expected. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
