We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Manager to lead our ServiceNow development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in the ServiceNow platform and a proven track record of managing projects and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing ServiceNow development projects, acting as the primary liaison between project management, the development team, and department leadership.
- Review project status, manage schedules and budgets, and prepare detailed status reports for key stakeholders.
- Assess and resolve project issues, ensuring goals for productivity, quality, and client satisfaction are met.
- Develop and implement mechanisms for monitoring project progress, providing strategic intervention and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and other stakeholders.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Ensure the team follows best practices for development, including SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years in leadership role and hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
- Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role, managing a team of at least five developers.
- Extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM, and Service Portal.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Glide APIs for building custom applications and widgets.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations, including REST/SOAP web services and other integration methods.
- Strong knowledge of UI Policies, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
- Experience with database schema design and development within the ServiceNow platform.
- Solid understanding of ITIL principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- US Citizenship Required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Additional ServiceNow Technical Skills:
- Advanced experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer for building complex workflows and integrations.
- Expertise in ServiceNow Studio for custom application development.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting including Server-side scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes) and Client-side scripting (Client Scripts, UI Actions).
- Knowledge of ServiceNow's platform security features and how to configure them.
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and dashboard creation.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework) for testing and validation.
- Experience in migrating data between ServiceNow instances.
Preferred Qualifications"

Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing, directing, and managing multiple, complex and inter-related IT projects.
- Manage teams of 20+ project support personnel and interface with senior OIG leadership, including the CIO.
- Responsible for the overall management of multiple IT projects and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the projects are implemented in a timely manner.
- Meet with OCIO customers and staff to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items
- Ensure conformance with program task schedules and costs
- Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers
- Oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks.
- Work cohesively with the Contracting Officer (CO), IT support staff, customers, and senior leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Project Manager for a Federal Agency
- Bachelors degree, or higher, in an IT- or business-related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Project software.
- Experience providing project briefs to senior executives.
- Experience implementing or working with Agile/Agile-Hybrid methodologies in the public sector.
- Active Secret Security Clearance
