$90.00/hr - $10.00/hr

Position Overview:

The Project Manager (PM) for the ExaData X11 Upgrade will lead the migration of critical systems from ExaData X7-2 to X9 servers. This role requires expertise in managing complex IT infrastructure projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless reconfiguration of key applications. The start date and duration of the project will be announced shortly.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution : Develop and manage a comprehensive project plan for the ExaData X11 upgrade, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• OBIA Reconfiguration : Oversee the reconfiguration of Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) to ensure compatibility and performance on the X9 platform.
• SOA Application Reconfiguration : Manage the reconfiguration of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
• EPM Hyperion 11.2.19 Reconfiguration : Lead the reconfiguration of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Hyperion 11.2.19 applications, optimizing for the new server environment.
• OAM/OUD/UMS Reconfiguration : Coordinate the reconfiguration of Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Unified Directory (OUD), and Unified Messaging Service (UMS) to align with the ExaData X9 infrastructure.
• Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to align project objectives and communicate progress.
• Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the migration and reconfiguration processes.
• Testing and Validation : Ensure thorough testing of all reconfigured applications to guarantee functionality and performance post-migration.
• Documentation and Reporting : Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience : 5+ years of project management experience in IT infrastructure projects, with a focus on Oracle ExaData migrations or similar large-scale server upgrades.
• Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of Oracle ExaData platforms (X7-2, X9), OBIA, SOA, EPM Hyperion 11.2.19, OAM, OUD, and UMS.
• Project Management : Proven expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, or Waterfall), with PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Leadership : Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to address technical and operational challenges during migration.
• Tools : Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent) and Oracle enterprise software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with ExaData X7-2 to X9 migrations.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) integration.
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks for change and release management.

Pay Scale: 90 - 110/hr - Contract

Description

The Senior Developer will play a hands-on role in supporting and enhancing enterprise finance systems across both Oracle EBS and future ERP platforms. This position serves as a techno-functional lead , directly responsible for designing, building, and supporting solutions that align with critical finance transformation initiatives-such as Chart of Accounts (COA) redesign , Fixed Assets implementation , and Procure-to-Pay modernization .

The developer will be deeply involved in interface development, data validation, custom extensions (FRICE), and functional configurations across Financials and Procurement modules. This includes working with Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions (FRICE) , Personalizations , Descriptive Flexfields (DFFs) , interface tables , and data migration tools .

This role requires strong knowledge of both the functional finance processes and the technical architecture of Oracle ERP (EBS and Fusion), particularly in Oracle Financials and Procure to Pay Modules.

The ideal candidate brings a unique ability to own both the business logic and the technical implementation, ensuring that system solutions are both technically sound and functionally aligned to finance objectives

· Leads on the designs, development, coding, testing and debugging of software applications/systems to meet the specifications. Monitors system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimization strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of applications.

· Partners and collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions. Manages the design, architecture and build phases aimed at producing high quality deliverables. Owns the software documentation and user manuals.

· Evaluating and integrating new technologies into existing development practices as well as Maintaining, updating, and improving existing software.

· Managers and participates in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Collaborate & lead tech teams consisting of employees & vendor company contractors in planning and execution, serving as an technology leader

· Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field

· Mandatory, 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (EBS and/or Fusion), including technical and functional responsibilities

· Proven experience with Chart of Accounts redesign , Fixed Assets implementation , and Procure-to-Pay modules on Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud

· Strong background in building and supporting customizations (Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions - FRICE), DFFs , interface tables , and BI Publisher reports

· Demonstrated ability to support data migration and mapping efforts using Oracle Data Hub

· Experience working in environments with coexisting legacy and cloud ERP platforms

· Experience with PL/SQL , SOA Suite , OIC , and REST/SOAP APIs

· Exposure to Agile delivery frameworks and sprint-based project execution

· Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to system integration and performance.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams

Preferred Requirements

· Prior involvement in end-to-end Oracle Fusion ERP implementations , especially in finance and procurement domains

· Experience with Oracle Procurement Cloud functional setups and configurations

· Familiarity with DevOps pipelines for ERP environments or related automation tools

· Understanding of finance data structures and experience working closely with finance users on solution design

The base pay range for this role is $109,820.00 to $142,936.00.

The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
