Position Summary:
As a member of the Firms Operations Management Team, the IT Manager will direct and oversee the firms technology infrastructure, innovation initiatives, and strategy implementation, with a strong focus on upgrading practice technologies, integrating artificial intelligence tools to enhance legal operations, client service, and internal efficiencies. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the legal industrys unique needs.
This is a full-time, exempt role with a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days remote), based in the Chicago office. The role will include some travel to other NFTMS offices, including Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco.
Key Initiatives:
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of an IT & AI Strategy and 3-year Road Map aligned with the Firms business Strategy and Strategic Plans.
- Work with newly formed IT & AI Committee to shape oversight and governance of IT & AI environment.
- Oversee an outsourced managed services IT and cybersecurity programincluding ongoing management of managed services vendor(s)/contractor(s).
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the firms IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cybersecurity, and cloud services.
- Develop and implement the firms technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate technology contracts and service agreements.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement AI tools for legal research, document review, contract analysis, and client service.
- Collaborate with attorneys and practice groups to pilot and scale AI solutions.
- Stay current on legal tech trends and assess their applicability to the firm.
- Oversee outsourced managed services IT and cybersecurity program.
- Ensure timely and effective support for all technology-related issues.
- Develop training programs to improve tech adoption and digital literacy across the firm.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws, cybersecurity standards, and client confidentiality requirements.
- Ensure regular risk assessments to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and protocols.
- Support client cybersecurity audit requests and questionnaires.
Other Responsibilities
- Vendor Management Managed services provider(s) must be held accountable through structured planning, execution, and performance oversight.
- Technology Translation Attorneys & staff need an internal advocate who can bridge the gap between technical details and business needs.
- Proactive Improvement An internal IT lead who can anticipate needs, propose solutions, and oversee implementation across areas like document management, AI adoption, and practice automation.
- Delivery of Strategic Projects For all major IT or AI initiatives, manage timelines, budgets, change & project management.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of IT management experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
- Experience working with generative AI or machine learning tools in a business setting.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in legal tech platforms (e.g., NetDocuments or iManage, Exterro or other e-discovery platforms, LexisNexis, Westlaw).
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Harvey, Casetext, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise software.

Our client is seeking a skilled and self-driven IT Site Administrator to join their team in Elgin, IL and provide critical IT support to a dual-purpose site consisting of both a manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters. This role is highly hands-on and dynamic, serving as the primary IT contact for onsite usersincluding C-suite leadershipas well as remote employees across the organization.
This is a jack-of-all-trades role requiring a strong foundation in end-user support, Windows systems, SaaS platforms, and server/network infrastructure. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hybrid environment and possesses excellent technical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Responsibilities for IT Site Administrator:
Serve as the go-to IT contact for all onsite support, including executive and shop floor users
Provide high-level end-user support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Onboard and offboard users including hardware setup, account provisioning, and access control
Maintain, troubleshoot, and support local infrastructure including servers, switches, printers, and access points

3+ years in an IT Administrator, Systems Support, or Help Desk role

Familiarity with networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Experience supporting executive-level staff and remote workers
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues independently

The Senior Developer will play a hands-on role in supporting and enhancing enterprise finance systems across both Oracle EBS and future ERP platforms. This position serves as a techno-functional lead , directly responsible for designing, building, and supporting solutions that align with critical finance transformation initiatives-such as Chart of Accounts (COA) redesign , Fixed Assets implementation , and Procure-to-Pay modernization .
The developer will be deeply involved in interface development, data validation, custom extensions (FRICE), and functional configurations across Financials and Procurement modules. This includes working with Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions (FRICE) , Personalizations , Descriptive Flexfields (DFFs) , interface tables , and data migration tools .
This role requires strong knowledge of both the functional finance processes and the technical architecture of Oracle ERP (EBS and Fusion), particularly in Oracle Financials and Procure to Pay Modules.
The ideal candidate brings a unique ability to own both the business logic and the technical implementation, ensuring that system solutions are both technically sound and functionally aligned to finance objectives
· Leads on the designs, development, coding, testing and debugging of software applications/systems to meet the specifications. Monitors system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimization strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of applications.
· Partners and collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions. Manages the design, architecture and build phases aimed at producing high quality deliverables. Owns the software documentation and user manuals.
· Evaluating and integrating new technologies into existing development practices as well as Maintaining, updating, and improving existing software.
· Managers and participates in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Collaborate & lead tech teams consisting of employees & vendor company contractors in planning and execution, serving as an technology leader

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field
· Mandatory, 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (EBS and/or Fusion), including technical and functional responsibilities
· Proven experience with Chart of Accounts redesign , Fixed Assets implementation , and Procure-to-Pay modules on Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud

The base pay range for this role is $109,820.00 to $142,936.00.
