MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Training and Experience
Graduation from high school
and
Two years of satisfactory, paid experience installing and maintaining applications, computers, computer networks, or supporting or training the users.

Completion of one year (30 credits) of education at a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university, may be substituted for the above-mentioned experience on a year-for-year basis. For each year, the 30 credits must have included at least six (6) credits in a computer field.

Position Details

Phibro is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead the successful planning and delivery of strategic and operational IT projects across the enterprise. This remote role is ideal for a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in IT project management, who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about driving digital transformation. The Project Manager will be responsible for stewarding projects through our process from concept to completion, and ensuring desired outcomes are aligned with Phibro's broader technology and business goals. Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. May supervise computer programmers.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance.
• Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.
• Supervise the work of programmers, technologists, technicians and other engineering personnel.
• Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
• Determine system performance standards.
• Train users to use new or modified equipment.
• Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.

Qualifications:
• Technical Degree or related discipline
• Experience in designing and building applications.
• Ability to program in at least one programming language such as C#, Java (J2EE) etc.
• In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools.

Our client, an A-Rated Commercial Lines Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add an Information Technology Business Systems Analyst to their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in aligning technology solutions with business objectives within a highly reputable organization in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define, analyze, and document requirements for technology projects and product enhancements.
  • Serve as a bridge between business units and IT teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, deliverables, and outcomes.
  • Manage and refine product backlogs using tools such as Microsoft DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Support project teams through the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, user story development, testing, and implementation.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of insurance products, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to ensure technology solutions meet business needs.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
  • 5 - 7+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or Product Manager, with prior experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry and a strong understanding of insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft DevOps, Jira, or similar tools for backlog management, requirements tracking, and project collaboration.
  • Professional/Agile certifications such as: CBAP, CCBA, CSM, CSPO.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
Salary/Benefits:
  • $130,000 to $160,000+ annual base salary plus 10-20% bonus
