SMX is seeking a proactive and skilled **Information Technology Specialist** to join our dynamic IT team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology and eager to expand their expertise in IT operations. As an Information Technology Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the company's IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Provide maintenance and support for computer desktops, printers, servers, and related equipment.
+ Perform installations, upgrades, and configurations of PC software and operating systems.
+ Diagnose and repair computer hardware issues.
+ Administer Active Directory, including adding, modifying, and deleting users and groups.
+ Administer Entra ID, including adding, modifying, and deleting users and groups.
+ Support end users with troubleshooting software and network issues.
+ Provide remote assistance to users via phone or internet.
+ Assist with backup technologies and ensure data integrity.
+ Train and support end users with new technologies and tools.
+ Collaborate with the IT team to enforce IT policies and procedures.
**Required Skills/Experience:**
+ Citizenship is required due to the nature of work supporting Department of Defense (DoD) clients.
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance may be required for continued employment.
+ High School Diploma/GED required; a 4-year degree in Information Technology or a related field is desired.
+ 4 years of helpdesk experience in a GCC-H environment.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
+ Solid knowledge of Windows 11 and familiarity with macOS.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Suite and cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure).
+ Basic understanding of networks and networking tools (e.g., PING, TELNET, NSLOOKUP).
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose technical issues effectively.
**Desired Skills/Experience:**
+ Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
+ Experience with remote desktop tools and backup technologies.
+ Familiarity with IT policies and procedures in regulated environments.

You will be responsible for driving the strategic development roadmap for customer facing platforms, online products, workflow solutions, and high-quality features and UX that support the defined business goals. + 5+ years as a product manager working with content and search platforms including some GenAI applications.
+ 8+ years' experience using Lean and Agile methodologies to plan, define and build products and solutions, as well as to continuously improve user adoption, engagement, and usage.
+ Medical research experience or medical product development experience a plus.

$193,970-$228,200 USD
