Summary Description of Classification: Responsible for installation, testing, maintenance and repair of low voltage equipment and cabling systems, as well as Fire Alarm, Intercom, Voice, Access Control, P/A systems, lighting control, auditorium sound systems and camera systems, both analog and IP in all district facilities. Employee will be on call for fire alarm and/or weather emergencies.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of low voltage cabling systems.
- Thorough knowledge of Troubleshooting to Repair techniques.
- Ability to lead others in repairing, testing and maintenance of low voltage systems
- Ability to deal courteously and diplomatically with others.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Ability to effectively utilize tools and diagnostic equipment necessary to perform job duties.
- Ability to drive and operate motor vehicles.
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment without supervision or technical assistance.
- Skilled in electronics testing, maintenance, installation and repair.
- Proficiency in downloading/uploading software and firmware installation is a plus.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED certificate and technical school diploma in electronics, telephone repair, low voltage cabling installation or a closely related field is required.
- Must hold or obtain a factory License in Nfpa 72, Fire alarm, Intercom systems used by the district.
- Three (3) years of experience in the field of low voltage cabling installation/repair and Public Addressing and Camera System testing/installation/repair/maintenance is required.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Network systems is a plus.
- Installs, test, maintain and repair Electronic Building Systems.
- Provide trainings and technical instructions for staff on installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems infrastructure.
- Performs electrical work orders as directed or assigned.
- Maintains records of work performed and/or testing records as required.
- Utilizes and maintains test equipment and materials in a responsible and reliable manner.
- Monitors and maintains equipment inventory; advise supervisor of material and supply requirements.
- Submits reports as need by the district.
- Installs and performs maintenance and repair work on clocks, bell systems, fire alarm systems, intercom systems, access control systems, camera and P/A systems etc. as requested.
- Be on call and lead others in the absences of a supervisors.

- Salary Range: Grade 132 (placement on salary schedule based on years of related experience). Up to ten years allowed. The stated salary range reflects the opportunity for pay over the course of the employee's tenure. For external candidates, the top pay is not a potential starting salary.

JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Dairy Technology Center Manager, the Dairy Tech Farm worker serves as a caretaker for goat herds and flocks of sheep, including feeding, milking, watering, hoof trimming, disbudding, and administering medications as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain pastures and fences.
- Operate equipment in the feed mill.
- Mix feed to prepare rations for animals.
- Service and maintain small machinery.
- Move animals using livestock trailers.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong background in animal husbandry or experience in caring for animals.
- Experience in construction and repair of farm fences.
- Familiarity of feed mill operations
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using farm machinery.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Experience working with students.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Occasional travel to pick up supplies and attend meetings/trainings.
- Work done mostly outside and sometimes in a climate-controlled environment.
- Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, catching animals, heavy lifting (50 and occasionally up to 75 pounds), reaching over the shoulder and repeated bending.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant/Associate Professor position is a split appointment (75% teaching and 25% teaching), full-time, 9-month and tenure track position in the Engineering Technology Department. The faculty will teach undergraduate level courses related to Electronic Engineering Technology and advise students as needed by the Department. The incumbent will also conduct research in one of such areas: Sensor Integration, Energy Efficiency, smart grids, power electronics and control.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach Electrical Engineering undergraduate level courses.
- Provide instruction in the areas of Electronic Engineering Technology and across the other departmental disciplines as needed via Face-to-face, Desire2Learn (D2L) and other technical modalities.
- Maintain office hours on campus and virtually (off-campus).
- Participate in student recruitment.
- Pursue a research agenda through various scholarly activities.
- Participate in research and extension activities.
- Advise students in the major.
- Participate in continuous assessment of program-level and student learning outcomes.
- Provide service to the Department, College, University, and professional organizations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Provide an on-campus presence to meet with and to serve students, and to collaborate with colleagues in the department and across campus to fulfill service roles.
- Support the department in development and execution of in-person, hybrid and online courses, program evaluation, and accreditation processes.
- Conduct research in the field of agriculture, which applies up to date technology in Electrical Engineering into agricultural aspects.
- Seeking scholarships, grants to assist the agriculture college in developing innovative ideas for future proposals, writing grant proposals, and serving as Co-PI/PI on grants.
MINIMUM QUALFICIATIONS
- Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering field-accredited university.
