**Basic Qualifications:**
*Must be able to obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to beginning employment, and then obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance while employed to be considered for this position*
- Experience working within the DoD systems development life-cycle (SDLC)
- Implementing System Security requirements on DoD systems to meet U.S. government compliance requirements
- Experience supporting validation and verification of security requirements on DoD systems
- Possess an approved DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT/IAM Level II (CISSP, CAP, etc.) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of start date in order to meet program requirements
**Desired Skills:**
- Experience developing embedded DoD National Security Systems (NSS) requiring Systems Security Engineering implementations is preferred
- Design experience through the DoD systems development life-cycle (SDLC) developing embedded system security solutions for DoD weapon or tactical systems
- Tactical as well as strategic thinking and creative problem solving
- Experience with embedded systems design
- Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Experience with embedded system vulnerability scanning and Software Assurance (SwA) activities
- Strong understanding of System Security Engineering (SSE) principals and process. (NIST SP 800-161)
- Experience in the identification, decomposition, allocation and verification of NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls on DoD systems
- Experience in supporting Security Verification testing on developed DoD Weapon Systems

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
