ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking an energetic Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to join our growing team in Austin or Round Rock, TX. This early-career role offers the opportunity to make an impact across the enterprise by supporting team members, administering our Learning Management System (LMS), and designing and delivering engaging training programs.

We're looking for an outgoing, tech-savvy professional who is eager to expand their L&D expertise while collaborating with colleagues at all levels throughout the organization.

Following a 90-day introductory period, this position has the opportunity to be hybrid (3 days in the office per week).

About the Role:
As a Learning & Development Specialist, your responsibility will be to support to our Learning Management System as well as provide subject matter expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs. This position will partner with leaders and stakeholders to understand business needs to assist in creating a fully integrated learning and development solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative duties for Learning Management System (LMS). This will include assigning courses, reporting and tracking training history. Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and user experience.
  • Provide oversight of e-learning curriculum, assessments, reports and analytics.
  • Respond and troubleshoot inquires related to training course issues.
  • Help develop and utilize metrics to evaluate learner retention, understanding, and goals.
  • Use various learning techniques and processes to ensure instructional design principles are implemented to deliver functional training through in-person learning sessions, workshops, online learning, blended learning, self-paced learning and other methods, as applicable.
  • Review existing curriculum and course material.
  • Partner with Team Members to procure new or updated information.
  • Remain up to date on developments within the industry and competitors.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand current processes and procedures to help develop learning programs that align with specific needs.
  • Assist in the coordination of online and onsite training sessions.
  • Complete other assignments and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 1-5 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, specifically in a corporate setting
  • Previous experience implementing and/or administering Learning Management Systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to implement L&D strategies to support business goals
  • Capable of managing priorities with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a safe manner and obey safety regulations at all times
  • Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy.

The role of Learning and Development Lead will sit within our Human Resources Team, reporting to the HR Business Partner.
The role is responsible for providing and delivering learning & development initiatives and programs across ISC2, to ensure employees have the skills, knowledge and behaviours to perform effectively in their current and future roles.
