This is an Operations position responsible for performing clerical duties within the Transportation department including maintaining all regulatory compliance as required by the Department of Transportation.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Gather, organize and process driver daily paperwork, logs, manifest, vehicle inspection, etc.
+ Answer phones, route calls and take messages.
+ Research short on truck that driver's call in.
+ Respond to delivery associate issues and provide support for a resolution.
+ Create Driver Qualification files as needed and maintain all required documents in Supervision as required under the Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines( i.e. driver's license status, Medical Examination Cards, Certificate of Violations, monitor Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) status, etc).
+ Monitor and review all driver logs and violations through the onboard computer system, Telogis.
+ Run daily reports for transportation supervisors( i.e. Observations, Vehicle Tracking, etc).
+ Daily monitoring of Drive Cam Events and processing them for coaching and signatures.
+ Backup for New Driver DOT Training.
+ Perform all other tasks as assigned by supervision or management.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education**
+ High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent.
**Experience**
+ 2 years' distribution/transportation experience in a high volume, route delivery operation preferred.
**Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations**
+ Valid Driver License
**Professional Skills**
+ Strong leadership, analytical and motivational skills.
+ Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
+ Solid written and verbal communication skills.

This is an Operations position responsible for supervising the activities associated with Delivery. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, management and direction to delivery staff, compliance with government regulations and safety and security of the delivery department.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates, including adherence to standard operating procedures, adherence to planned routes, and providing safe and efficient customer service.
+ Ensures Delivery Associate compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (i.e. DOT, OSHA, etc.) and ensures that electronic logs are kept current and accurate.
+ Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
+ Prepares work schedules including extra work days and shifts as needed.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Permanent Director of Supply Chain in our Manufacturing department. This is an incredible opportunity for a motivated professional to lead and develop our supply chain strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, food safety, PennDOT, and freezer operations. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company by ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
As the Permanent Director of Supply Chain, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage every stage of the supply chain process, from product creation to final distribution.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business goals.
3. Collaborate closely with other department heads to streamline operations and improve productivity.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to food safety and PennDOT.
5. Manage all aspects of freezer operations, including maintenance, inventory control, and safety procedures.
6. Analyze supply chain data to identify areas of improvement and implement effective solutions.
7. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
8. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
9. Monitor and manage logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in supply chain management.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Director of Supply Chain role will have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, food safety, PennDOT, and freezer operations.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
7. Proficiency in supply chain management software.
8. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
9. Proven track record of developing and implementing effective supply chain strategies.
