**Summary**
The Coordinator - Transportation is directly responsible for fulfilling all local loads and unloads of freight in and out of warehouse facilities. This role is responsible for the timely movement of equipment to and from warehouse to events for the purpose of flawless execution. This position requires strong communication and coordination skills.
This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show site based out of McCook, IL.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Fulfill all transportation needs for assigned events
+ Ensure compliant utilization of the Transportation Management System
+ Communicate with warehouse and event staff all transportation movements in accordance established policies and procedures
+ Perform call checks as required for shipments to ensure timely delivery
+ Assist in training/development, and staffing of staff
+ Work with vendor network to provide quality service while balancing fiscal responsibility to ensure Operational Excellence and Sustainable Profitability
+ Check drivers in and out of warehouse in accordance to operational policies and procedures
+ Provide recommendations on Capital Expenditure and planning
+ Drive teamwork and communication between all warehouse operations
+ Assists other department heads as needed
+ Deliver parts between warehouse and show site or other locations as needed
**Education & Experience**
+ Must have valid state drivers license
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
+ 2 years of related experience within event production, warehouse management and/or transportation management preferred
+ Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
