Transportation-Supply Chain Coordinator II
The Transportation-Supply Chain Coordinator II manages daily pick-up and delivery operations across multiple warehouses and fulfillment partners, coordinating carriers and internal teams for efficient direct-to-consumer shipping. This role focuses on building carrier relationships, analyzing performance, operational compliance, and implementing cost-saving initiatives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to streamlining logistics, troubleshooting, and ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
This is a full-time, hybrid position at our Sandy Office, located at 17014 NE Sandy Blvd. Portland, OR 97230.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Oversee successful execution of daily pick-up strategy across national distribution centers (DCs), coordinating carriers, DC staff, and internal teams for smooth execution of small parcel, LTL, and FTL shipments.
Lead carrier tracking and monitoring processes, manage triage response efforts, and implement quality control processes to optimize on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with carriers and third-party logistics (3PL), ensuring success with day-to-day logistics operations and contract compliance.
Conduct regular meetings with internal and external partners, including review of key metrics to ensure adherence to SLAs, cost optimization, and quality performance.
Develop and implement a proactive communication strategy that fosters strong relationships with DCs, logistics service providers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency, effective problem resolution, and continuous improvement.
Continuously analyze transportation spend through detailed reporting and performance tracking, identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives to optimize transportation costs.
Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to provide analytical support for accruals, invoice processing, carrier invoice audits, and billing issue resolutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (purchasing, finance, accounting, warehouse DCs) to streamline logistics workflows, troubleshoot operational challenges, ensure shipping label compliance, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
WHAT YOU BRING
B.A. or B.S. degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance, or equivalent experience.
At least 4 years of progressively more responsible work experience related to small parcel (UPS/USPS/FedEx/DHL) ecommerce fulfillment.
In-depth understanding of domestic transportation modes and processes.
Proficiency with MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
Meticulous attention to detail, high accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
Experience with any of the following systems Oracle, Monday.com, Looker, Snowflake, Aftership, Transportation Insight, API & EDI connections preferred.

Pay range (US based applicants): $64,786 - $76,000 (annualized)

- Ensure data-driven decision-making within the supply chain function
6. Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
