The Transportation Supervisor provides direct supervision for a group of assigned Drivers.

What you'll do as a Transportation Supervisor:
- Achieve safe, timely, and accurate deliveries to customers via a thorough working knowledge of multi-stop routing systems and dispatch procedures.
- Review driver logs, hours of service, and other DOT requirements to ensure compliance with all state, local and federal regulations.
- Coordinate activities with other distribution center departments to ensure that accurate and timely deliveries occur.
- This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion.

Communicate daily with drivers at Domicile
- Communicate daily with leadership at the home hub in Hebron
- Manage backhauls from the Domicile ensuring timely pick-up and delivery to the DC
- Manage shuttle drivers and shuttle operation from the Domicile
- Coach drivers when Key Performance Indicators are under goal (On-Time performance, Geo Fence capture rate, auto arrivals, sales compliance, scanning compliance, Drive Cams)
- Quarterly Route Rides and Safety Observations on off hours

Manage driver schedules, vacation schedules for all drivers at the the Domicile
- Work with vendors to ensure equipment is in safe condition and route ready
- Monitor/manage the TK for the trailers - TK knowledge a plus
- Conduct interviews for prospective driver positions and provide feedback to leadership in Hebron
Qualifications you'll bring as a Transportation Supervisor:
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Have at least 1 year of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry.
- Be knowledgeable about DOT regulations.
- AS/400 experience is preferred.
- Truck routing software experience preferred.
- Be able to work a varied and flexible schedule.
- Have basic competency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. In this exciting role, as a Manager within the OAPI supply chain team, you will look to acheive operational goals while working cross-functionally across various departments to support development, planning, and implementation of the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process.
You will support execution of global sourcing strategies across various supplier categories related to Otsuka products.
