Job Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, modeling and reporting on data and metrics focused on transforming the supply chain service network within a vertically integrated supply chain to optimize performance, reduce restaurant-level cost structures, and enhance operational efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with teams across logistics, procurement, distribution, QCC Operations, engineering, restaurant operations, development, finance, IT and supply partners to develop and align on innovative, scalable supply chain solutions.

  • Data-Driven Analysis: Drive data analysis and modeling to evaluate service network performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend actionable improvements.

  • Technology Management: Create data reports as needed to support projects

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present project updates, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders across the organization.

  • Performance Metrics / Results Tracking: Define and track key performance indicators to measure impact on restaurant cost structure, service levels, and supply chain resilience.

  • Change Management: Champion adoption of new processes and tools through strong communication, training support, and alignment with restaurant operations leaders.

Education, Experience & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations or transformation, preferable within QSR, retail, CPG, or foodservice industries.

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

  • Proven success leading complex, cross -functional supply chain projects

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in network design, cost modeling, and scenario planning

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

**Job Description:**

Our Global Logistics and Distribution business unit provides comprehensive logistics services and warehousing solutions utilizing a global network of distribution centers, innovative technology and supply chain expertise to manage the flow of goods from receiving to storage and order processing to shipment.
**Job Summary:**
Directs multi-mode transportation service offerings (e.g., trucking, railroad, steamship, etc.) for distribution customers. Oversees vendor selection, negotiates rates and plans transportation routes to meet customer needs, and transit time expectations. Ensures that transport carrier performance meets UPS standards and regulatory compliance and provides recommendations for operational improvements. Ensures maximum efficiency and utilization of the transportation network fleet to reduce transportation costs and improve margins for UPS.
Responsible for overseeing, evaluating, and correcting the performance and outcomes of a team or multiple teams. Coordinates work across the organization to optimize efficiency. Makes key workforce decisions, such as hiring, onboarding, transferring, laying off, disciplining, assigning, directing, instructing, developing, and rewarding employees. Emphasis on aligning processes and fostering cohesion among team members.
Supervises a team(s) that performs work according to standardized processes or procedures (e.g., entry-level Professional Expertise, Administrative or Technical Support). Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors. Problem solving is guided by policies, procedures and the local business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager. Typically, does not perform the work supervised.

Your Opportunity
The Lexington, KY office is looking for a Transportation Drainage Engineer to join our team. The Transportation Drainage Engineer focuses on the drainage and design related to transportation infrastructure including roadways, expressways and transit facilities. The successful candidate would work as a part of a project team in the development of contract plans for transportation projects according to established engineering standards and state or federal policies. This position would involve working on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Interacts with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others.
- May coordinate the work of other engineers and/or technicians who assist in specific assignments.
- Gathers data and information required in the drainage design of transportation facilities.
- Perform and check drainage calculations, drainage studies, drainage folders, drainage quantities and summaries.
- Attend project meetings and may present specific aspects of engineering assignment.
- May assist with the preparation of proposals.
- Follows all in-house procedures related to documentation of designs, process flow, filing, etc.
- Assists with client, customer, or official contacts and communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.
- Actively participates in the marketing process by delivering quality work, providing excellent client service and assisting with project pursuits and CRM efforts.
- Assists the project manager in coordination with the client, sub-consultants and staff.
- Keeps current with the engineering profession in theory and practice, especially in the area of specialty.
- Keeps current with the current technology used in field (software, means, process, etc).
- Takes active mentoring role; encourages, motivates and develops others for high performance; ensures that mistakes become learning experiences.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
- Experience with ORD Drainage, HEC-RAS (including scour analysis), STORMCAD, HY-8 and other drainage software utilized by KYTC Highway Design Drainage Branch preferred.
- Ability to work in groups. Flexibility.
- Good communication, multi-tasking, attentiveness to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and interface with multiple project managers.
Education and Experience
Completion of a four (4) year college level academic program in Civil Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree is mandatory. Five (5) years of experience.
EIT registration required, PE license is preferred.
