Job Title: Transportation CoordinatorJob Description
This is a temporary position for around 3 months to cover an employee going out on leave. The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for managing the movement of manufactured homes and related components from the production facility to retailers, communities, or job sites. This position ensures that all transportation activities comply with safety regulations, state oversize/overweight permit requirements, and company standards while meeting customer delivery expectations.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate and schedule transportation of manufactured homes and components, aligning production schedules with customer delivery timelines.
+ Communicate with drivers, third-party haulers, and setup crews to ensure timely pick-up, transit, and delivery of homes.
+ Act as the primary contact for customers, sales, production, and field personnel regarding transportation status and changes.
+ Proactively address transportation issues such as delays, damages, or route conflicts to minimize disruption and costs.
+ Maintain accurate transportation records, including permits, bills of lading, and inspection reports.
+ Monitor freight costs, negotiate rates when needed, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
+ Ensure all transportation activities prioritize safety, including proper home preparation for transport and compliance with tie-down/escort requirements.
+ Prepare and distribute transportation reports.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in a similar industry is a big plus.

Work Environment
The role operates within an industrial building and will require movement throughout the facility at times. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 5:45 am to 2:15 pm, with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break. The dress code is business casual, and jeans are acceptable.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities of Supply Chain Planner
+ Support supply planning and procurement activities for externally manufactured products and outside operations.

As part of the Supply Chain Team, you will play an integral part of our team, while gaining real-world experience and a comprehensive understanding of various supply chain and operations functions within a global organization. In addition to the job functions of your assigned area, you will also develop your professional skillset by working on exciting projects that allow you to make a real impact and collaborate with Fenner colleagues across our organization.

As part of the Supply Chain Team, you will:

  • Experience the variety of daily activities required for Planning and Purchasing for a variety of manufacturing plants.
  • Participate in data improvement projects in support of the Supply Chain Team.

Core Competencies Required

  • Analytical skills: ability to interpret data and turn it into key customer insights
