**Our Program:**
This position is best suited for candidates who want to gain valuable experience to launch their career with Penske. Our dedicated training program will prepare you to oversee logistics operations including customer service. Hands-on experience will help you learn to effectively manage equipment using various platforms and provide customer service to field operators in a manner consistent with company services and cost objectives. Upon graduation from the program, you'll be prepared to lead a small group of hourly associates in a dedicated contract carriage operation.
-Ensure that all equipment and accessory items are aligned with the proper unit
- Manage all accessory devices for all equipment using third party vendor platforms
-Understand the location-specific equipment goals & objectives and work to meet and exceed these expectations daily.
-Effectively resolve issues and monitor day-to-day operations for compliance using organizational and time management skills.
-Learn the Kaizen methodology and implement Lean processes.
-Evaluate and recommend changes in preferred work methods to increase productivity of dispatch operations.
-Properly plan work assignments to ensure effective use of fleet/ equipment.
**Qualifications:**
-Bachelor's degree required - In Business, Supply Chain, Data Science/Analytics or related field is a plus.
-Demonstrated leadership through school, your community, clubs/organizations, or the military

**Position Summary:**
Load Planners coordinate all processes and functions of freight movement and customer service. Load Planners process customer orders, plan & optimize shipments into loads using Transportation Manager System, tender freight to third-party carriers, update the Transportation Manager System with current shipment information and respond to internal and external customer inquiries. Load Planners also provide visibility to management and the customer by tracking, process over-sight, auditing, researching, and troubleshooting operational issues or functions.
**Major Responsibilities:**
- Load-building - Adding shipments to a load, rating a load, securing carrier coverage and appointment setting. Monitoring and resolving MCP email messages. Identify shipping opportunities for improved performance such as: truckload multi-stops, consolidated shipments, etc.
- Provide excellent Customer Service to assigned account(s)
- Call Center and shared email box responsibility
- Provide visibility to management and the customer by tracking shipments, process over-sight, auditing, load exception investigation, researching and troubleshooting operational issues or functions.
- Recover customer loads
- Complete daily logs and trackers. Provide detailed instruction for various customers and associates from other shifts by phone and e-mail.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
**Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.

Provide deliveries to contracted Long Term Facilities Monday - Friday. Provide prescription delivery and pick up to customers/patients of the Community Pharmacy daily. Will collect co-pays and delivery charges associated with deliveries. Must be flexible with schedule.

**Skills and Abilities:**
The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of engineering design principles, including computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), as well as proficiency in 3D and 4D software and related practices. They will demonstrate expert proficiency in Microsoft Office software such as Excel and Word, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. In addition, they will possess expert knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, as well as key design standards, including AASHTO and NACTO.
**Background Check and Drug Testing Information:**
