Position Responsibilities

• Lead a Supply Chain / Velocity team who are responsible for assigning and maintaining product locations across two buildings totalling over 1.4 million square-feet.

• Analyze reports, tools and queries to ensure compliance with slotting standards and optimize supply chain within the facility.

• Make recommendations to leadership regarding process improvement and space management.

• Collaborate with other Uline departments on cross functional projects related to supply chain, safety and demand planning.

• Effectively communicate departmental updates to local management as well as to corporate leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree.

• 5+ years of experience in Distribution. Demonstrated experience in procedures preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access. SQL knowledge is a plus.

• Detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking and communication skills.

Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Contract Duration: 5 months w/ extension

Location: Crown Point, IN

The role is responsible for leading North America (NA) Distribution operations. This includes collaborating with 3PLs to drive daily operations and continuous improvement to yield world class results through globally consistent processes. Drive metrics driven performance and incremental process automation. The successful candidate will lead the NA Distribution team daily operations including process defect reporting, escalations within 3PL's, expediting critical material sets, accurate inventory management and planning warehouse capacities.

Key job responsibilities

• Responsible for oversight for all NA distribution operations: Receiving, shipping, inventory control, cost, and all related SLAs, KPIs, CIs.
• Escalation point for NA Distribution team
• Responsible for quality, performance, and capacity of contract logistics providers.
• Support business cases for new distribution strategies.
• Thought leader for cost efficiencies and frugality initiatives.
• Drive operational excellence by developing and improving KPIs and SLAs.
• Manage daily plan to exceed expectations for labor productivity, inventory control and order accuracy. Achieve monthly budget targets.

The Supply Planner is responsible for purchasing, inventory management, and vendor management. This role will work cooperatively and cross-functionally with sales, category management, transportation, warehouse operations, account management, brokers, and manufacturers. Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements:
• 2-4 years of related Supply Chain experience.
• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain concepts, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and their applications.

• Additional Skills / Aptitude:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 35 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations planning.
• Proficiency in SAP is essential.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Power Query and other advanced data functions.
• Experience working with MRP systems, automated planning tools, and inventory control processes.
• Sound judgment and the ability to make decisions from written, verbal, visual, and schedule-based inputs.

The pay range for this position is $78,038 - $5,830 per year and is eligible for an annual bonus.
