**JOB SUMMARY:**
This position is for administration of supplier functions outside of normal PO placement and delivery activities. Interacts closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues and maintains working relationships with strategic supply chain partners. Designs and implements business metrics to monitor, track and report sourcing project progress. The job requires considerable contact with both company personnel and vendor representatives

Staffing Coordinator / Transportation Job Description
• Make and maintain physicians visit schedule including tracking of admissions, re-admissions, transfers, and discharges on the master floor list.
• Prior to admissions, check the master floor list and place residents in a color-coded slot according to floor and physician.
• Transportation arrangements for outside appointments
• Ensure physician complete all forms in their mailbox in a timely manner i.e.- insurance, housing, disability, etc. and return it to the responsible individual /department.
• Performs other tasks as directed by the Medical Director, Director of Nursing and /or Administration.
• Create and post schedules for nursing department, track and post changes and approve trades.
• Maintain timely records of call-out, late and early arrivals to work and coordinate with HR daily to ensure attendance policies are administered promptly and fairly.
• Monitor daily PPD
• Monitor and minimize staff overtime
• Contact and schedule agency staff, if applicable, to cover open shifts as a last resort.
• Provide accurate reports to the DON relating to staffing, vacancies or agency use.

The Transportation Supervisor reports directly to the Transportation Manager and plays a key role in supporting Baldor's mission by overseeing, guiding, and assisting Baldor Drivers in the field. This position is primarily based at our Holtsville, NY location, with required travel to our Bronx facility twice a week using a company provided vehicle. Weekend availability is required .

Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily transportation operations to ensure a timely and efficient delivery service.
• Monitor and track driver and route performance within the designated geographic region.
• Assist in monitoring daily delivery efficiency, ensuring customer delivery windows are met.

The Opportunity

Responsibilities

Summary

This position is responsible for securely transporting detainees between destinations and ensuring that the vehicles used for transportation activities are safe and properly maintained.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-trip, during-trip, and post-trip inspections of all vehicles operated. Provides written Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) at the end of each trip or shift and ensures that all potential safety defects are reported to the Transportation Supervisor.
• Ensures that all permits and licenses are in order before beginning a trip. Notifies the Transportation Manager if there are problems before initiating a trip.
• Ensures that vehicles have the necessary safety equipment before initiating a trip. Notifies the Transportation Manager if there are problems before initiating a trip.
• Completes all necessary paperwork and reports in an accurate and thorough manner. Ensures that all reports are turned into the facility according to described policies and procedures.
• Ensures that detainees are properly secured prior to leaving a facility and while in a vehicle. Ensures that all paperwork is obtained and completely accurately and thoroughly when obtaining detainees at a facility and delivering them to their appropriate destinations.
• Ensures that all safety measures are followed at all time while transporting detainees, including but not limited, to all application federal, state, municipal and organizational laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Immediately contacts safety authorizations and facility management in the event of an accident. Provides detailed information, both verbally and written, to requesting authorities.
• Delivers vehicles for servicing and picks them up when ready.
• Performs stationary guard duties as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required. Possession of applicable state requisites for employment.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• A valid “Class B” or “Class C” Chauffeurs Driver’s License (CDL) with a Passenger (P) endorsement at time of hire.
• Eighty (80) hours of verified and certified driver’s training from an approved company trainer and as defined by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
• Must possess a State Firearms License.
• Must possess a State Security Guard License.
• Must have completed an approved training program resulting in a certification of satisfactory completion in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military.
• Certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military.
• A current driver’s license with no preventable accidents, suspensions for driving convictions, Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) or Driving Under the Influence (DUI) or more than two (2) moving violations on any type of vehicle for the past three (3) years.
• Passing a company and Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol test.
• Ability to work overtime frequently.
• Ability to travel extended periods of time with frequent overnight stays.
• Ability to handle physical and mental stress associated with working extended hours.
• Must be able to regularly report to work without being late.
• Ability to be physically alert on any shift that is assigned.
• Ability to work up to sixteen (16) hours within a rolling 24 hour period.
• Must be mature, flexible, and able to command the respect and confidence of inmates or detainees as well as staff and possess a high tolerance to mental stress.
• Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
