**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Direct activities of staff and manage projects with other cross-functional teams at site
+ Oversee weekly review meeting with manufacturing site. Provide content for monthly Executive S&OP
+ Provide POs and forecasts to contract manufacturers ensuring adequate supply
+ Ensure material availability to meet Finished Goods Supply plan
+ Track Demand Vs Commit Vs Supply on ongoing basis
+ Work with cross-functional team to improve the gap between demand vs commit vs supply
+ Material planning using various electronic platforms, including SAP, MRP, APO
+ Coordinate with Site CFT for release of materials as well as Finished products
+ Track nonmoving, slow-moving inventory; coordinate with corporate team for disposition approvals
+ Work with DEA team for quota applications of all list chemicals and controlled substances
+ Work in Trackwise for generating/approving QMS records as required
+ Issue process orders for manufacturing, in-house packing, and CMO packing
+ Partner with marketing and finance teams on activities like sales forecast budgets
+ Approve and/or create order quantities or purchase order push outs; reflow production schedules based on priority
+ Work effectively with site CFT and drive business priorities
+ Timely escalation to management on critical supply aspects
+ Support the monthly Sales and Operations Planning
+ Manage projects, including new product launches and life cycle changes, across functions and within supply chain to ensure timelines are realized
+ Other duties as assigned by management
+ KPIs include: improve sufficiency, reduce backorder, improve demand vs supply, reduce failure to supply, reduce SLOB (API/RM)
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management; Masters preferred
+ 8+ years experience in a supply chain role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or 6 + years with Masters.
+ 2+ years leading a team
+ Familiarity with production planning, supply chain experience, and an understanding of generic pharmaceutical trade sales models preferred
+ Proficient in Excel and other analysis/reporting tools; working knowledge of SAP
+ Excellent analytical, mathematical, and verbal/written communication skills
+ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes

In this exciting role, as a Manager within the OAPI supply chain team, you will look to acheive operational goals while working cross-functionally across various departments to support development, planning, and implementation of the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process.
You will support execution of global sourcing strategies across various supplier categories related to Otsuka products.
You will manage a complex portfolio of products with competing priorities that include balancing inventory, managing vendor / supplier relationships, optimizing total delivered cost to meet finished goods demand with focus on delivering value to our patients, our suppliers, and to Otsuka.
You will create and nurture an environment for proactive communications with cross functional collaborators that will help ensure both internal and external customer demands are consistently met with no laps in supply and availability of products to our patients.
Additional facets of the role include coordinating purchase requisitions in the ERP system, monitoring supplier performance KPIs and reporting, coordinating, and aligning production and development efforts with program goals and communicating demand / forecast with key vendors / suppliers.
Working closely with program / project manager, product development, new product introduction, technical operations, site quality and pharmaceutical development internal/external manufacturing teams.
**Job Duties could include** :
Planning
+ Manage demand planning meetings with internal business partners (Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics, Channel Strategy, etc.) gathering total demand for assigned responsibilities.
+ Partner with internal to review and streamline demand planning process.
+ Develop and manage product manufacturing and distribution plans for new (products that are in the pipeline), and existing products that provides continuous supply to customers, including international product.
+ Create and maintain replenishment plans for finished products of responsible territories and create replenishment orders to sites at the planning time fence.
+ Develop and implement safety stock with sufficient shelf-life in alignment with desired customer service levels to meet inventory objectives and targets.
+ Manage manufacturing plan communications with all internal and external parties.
+ Manage purchase order process and work with drug product plants and packaging CMO's to ensure product plan is executed on time.
+ Manage communications with interdisciplinary teams (Vendors, Channel Strategy, Global Product Quality, Quality Control, Finance, Legal, Packaging, etc.) to monitor process and provide feedback.
+ Manage exceptions raised against existing replenishment plans and work with third party suppliers or site production planners to negotiate resolution and adjust plans to reflect changes in demand and supply to ensure that adequate production takes place to meet market demands.
+ Able to escalate supply issues and risks and implement corrective actions and mitigation strategies to maintain supply continuity.
+ Manage the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process that includes all internal key functional areas and allows sharing of performance and gain alignment on future actions.

+ Manage 3PL processes for inventory, returns and claims, recall activities and reporting, and product destructions.
+ Manage inventory reporting and communicate with appropriate parties.
+ Manage pick/pack/ship processes with 3PL ensuring full- and on-time delivery to meet targeted customer service level.

**Manager, Global Clinical Supply Chain** is a leader that who carries out leadership vision and directions while providing expertise for Gilead's global clinical trials. **Focus Areas:**

· Develops and implements depot and clinical site seeding and resupply strategies.
· Carries out operational/logistics strategies and works with Quality Assurance, and other functional groups to execute strategies that ensure on time and safe delivery of all clinical shipments.
· Collaborate with Logistics management and other members of GCSC, PDM and external partners to resolve shipping related issues. Escalates to senior leadership as needed.
· Supports the clinical development and PDM strategies working collaboratively within GCSC, Quality and other functional groups to develop clinical supply strategies and plan with the focus on delivering compliant, quality IMP to clinical trials globally on time in full.

Inventory optimization:
- Run scenario in Demand Planning systems (MCA) to propose and launch new inventory management strategies to leadership
- Manage projects to reduce the number of service level failures on a long term basis (ex: drop shipment analysis)
- Lead the inventory management project with the research laboratory with INSA Lyon
- Track related metrics for overall service level, total inventory (dollar value), number of parts, service level within region, accuracy of forecast, etc.
- Optimize inventory in distribution centers to support customer service objectives in each region and World Wide.
- Forecast demand of spares parts.
- Participate/Facilitate cross functional World Wide meetings related to Demand Planning requirements
- Manage target stock level overrides, validate target stock levels, adjust forecast parameters, and analyze
suspect demand.
- Review and manage business rules and network segments related to Demand Planning
- Spares provisioning for new aircraft models
- Engage in Business Information systems implementation (SAP, SPM.)
- Engage in cross-functional projects (warranty inventory process, operations project .)
Monitor retrofit programs progress:
- Interact with DAFS to define the correct pool of inventory, validate FSA release and follow up on current retrofit
- Prepare C-check with Engineering and RSP
- Coordinate with front line to prioritize the customers and meet required date
- Coordinate with rotable buyer to expedite the critical repair orders

Essential Skills
+ BA in Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar relevant field
+ Five years material planning experience with a minimum of two years in an aviation related industry using an automated inventory management system (i.e. MRP/ERP, SAP, MCA or DRP)
+ Open to someone from Automotive or Medical Device Industry
+ Demonstrated Project management and leadership skills
+ Proven skills in critical thinking and problem-solving
