The Vice President, Marketing and Ecosystem Platforms and Engineering is a key leadership role within Pfizer's Digital and Technology organization, reporting to SVP Digital Commercial and Center for Digital Innovation (C4).
The Vice President, Marketing and Ecosystem Platforms and Engineering will lead a team responsible for translating Pfizer strategy into innovative digital, technology and data platforms. This role will define the strategic direction, technical vision, and operational excellence of the platforms that power more than 10,000 Marketing colleagues across Commercial organization, as well as supporting Medical, Legal, and Regulatory teams across all Pfizer markets and business units globally. This leader will integrate advanced engineering practices across multiple disciplines, driving innovation, continuous improvement, and enterprise-wide transformation. Serving as a strategic advisor to senior Digital and Commercial leadership, the leader influences decisions that shape the future of Pfizer's digital ecosystem and strengthen its global health impact.
The Marketing and Ecosystem Platforms and Engineering leader combines execution with vision - solving complex engineering problems, designing resilient architectures, and ensuring delivery of high-quality platforms and services. The role leads an organization of technical colleagues and contracted resources, building a high-performing, change-agile delivery organization. Success depends on strong partnerships with senior leadership, technology leaders, product owners, business partners, and stakeholders across all levels of the enterprise.
This position demands excellent technical depth and breadth. The scope spans Pfizer's entire marketing and ecosystem digital landscape, with emphasis on key global platforms including Adobe Platforms (Experience Manager, Workfront, Express, Firefly), Web and Mobile Platform ecosystem and supporting capabilities, Python and AWS based automation capabilities, Salesforce Marketing CRM, CDP, Identity Platforms, alongside emerging generative and agentic AI technologies. The leader is expected to evaluate solution proposals, oversee vendor-managed services, govern large-scale delivery programs, and dive deeply into design and code-level issues when required. **Enterprise Strategy and Innovation**
+ Define and evolve the enterprise platform strategy in alignment with Pfizer's long-term business priorities and digital transformation agenda.

+ Oversee the architecture, design, and delivery of Pfizer's global commercial platforms, including Adobe suite of Platforms (Experience Manager, Workfront, Express, Firefly), Web and Mobile Platform ecosystem and supporting capabilities, Python and AWS based automation capabilities, Salesforce Marketing CRM, CDP, and Identify Platforms.
+ Make enterprise-level decisions on platform selection, vendor partnerships, technical designs, and implementation roadmaps.

**Delivery and Operations**
+ Ensure delivery of high-quality platforms and services from inception through global deployment.

+ Optimize delivery economics through disciplined estimation, contract negotiation, and operational efficiency.
**Incident Management and Resilience**
+ Lead responses to critical security incidents and operational outages, ensuring rapid containment, mitigation, and recovery.
+ Direct technical troubleshooting and guide teams through root-cause analysis and long-term remediation.
+ Drive resilience engineering practices and implement post-mortem reviews to prevent recurrence.
+ Ensure all solutions are designed with **privacy and security by design** principles from the outset.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Technology Management preferred, coupled relevant technical experience with emphasis on software development and maintenance.
Minimum of 15 years of experience as an information technology professional with increasing responsibility designing, delivering, and maintaining large-scale, global systems in one or many roles related to platform engineering, architecture, and emerging technologies
Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal skills, able to build trusted relationships, influence outcomes, and deliver effective presentations to diverse senior audiences.
Ability to influence enterprise strategy and lead large-scale transformation in a pharmaceutical or other regulated environment, with experience leading enterprise software implementations in a global, 24x7 setting.
Demonstrated proficiency and knowledge of the Pharma industry, customer requirements and general business environment to adapt and implement strategic projects. Proven experience in exhibiting high level of business knowledge and understanding of the external marketplace and in anticipating business requirements.
Strong team and people leadership, with experience managing large global organizations, and guiding and growing "leaders of leaders". Demonstrated ability to lead in a complex, global matrix with geographically distributed teams and indirect resources.
Financial acumen, managing financial resources and staff to meet goals across multiple functions and projects.
Vendor sourcing model definition and effective execution. Experience in vendor negotiations with cited impacts to strategic direction and in-line production products.

This position will be a key hire to help grow our Traffic Engineering practice, including Traffic Engineering design, signal design, traffic analysis, and traffic studies. The WSP Nashville group serves clients from around the state on a wide variety of projects ranging from signal design and ITS system design, corridor studies, complex roadway projects, greenways, and more. This position is an excellent opportunity to continue to enhance design, analysis, and production skills and build relationships within WSP as well as with a large number of clients around the state.
Provides high level technical assistance and guidance for operations of streets and highways, their networks, adjacent land uses, and interaction with other modes of transportation and their terminals. Tasks include performing capacity analyses, reviewing permitting, and engaging in the design, concept development, and construction of roadways, traffic patterns, and traffic signal design and timing. Substantiates reports and documentation to advise on materials and construction specifications. + Design communications networks and traffic signal improvements to facilitate remote, real time corridor operations.
+ Involved from project inception to completion in the management of design and construction of traffic projects, including pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction, grading, drainage, pavement design, specifications, phasing, and construction safety plans.
+ Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams of engineers, planners, and scientific professionals to execute project work on mid-level and/or multiple concurrent projects, including budgets, tracking hours and expenses, task completion, cost and quantities of materials/equipment/labor, technical calculations, permit applications, construction, compliance documentation, and regulatory and technical analysis memos.

+ Knowledge of traffic engineering and planning software (HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, ArcGIS).

What you'll do on a typical day:

- Is a key stakeholder in commercial discussions with existing customers and ensures that commercial decisions are in line with group direction and objectives.
- Manages labor costs and ensures organization structures are optimized to satisfy operations and service excellence
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management in distribution environment
- Demonstrated planning, project management and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with all levels of an organization, from hourly associates to senior executives, as well as external customers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- 15 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management
